Race 1	Advance Pet Nutrition Sprint - C0 - 295	EXCITING KYLE, HAYLEY'S WISH, MADE IN ENZED and MULBERRY BLACK were slow to jump. EXCITING KYLE improved quickly along the rail into the bend tightening HOME AGAIN who was checked coming back on AT THE PEG, MADE IN ENZED and HAYLEY'S WISH.
Race 2	Challenge Opawa All Up Dash - C1 - 295	TEPIRITA TIKI was slow to jump and when improving between dogs into the bend tightened HOMEBUSH NESTOR who was checked as a result. A veterinary examination revealed HOMEBUSH NESTOR to have sustained a laceration behind his left fore dew claw with a 7 day stand down recommended.
Race 3	Kolorful Kanvas Stakes - C0 - 520	BOMBAY TRAM was slow from the inside box but recovered quickly to take the lead into the first bend. MEDIVAC ran outwards after jumping checking TIME CATCHER, SLIGHTLY AMAZING and GIMME A DREAM. Into the first bend BOTANY MATTHEW checked out off the heels of LYNDOUR GEM forcing SLIGHTLY AMAZING wide around the bend.
Race 4	Barron's Supplies Sprint - C1 - 295	HAMBURGER checked out off the heels of WHERE'S MY SEAT as that dog drove to the lead, checking ANOTHER WACK and GENISTA COMANCHE.
Race 5	Tuesday Pace Pick Stakes - C1 - 520	WHY WHY DELILAH ran outwards into the first bend taking MOST HAUNTED wide who dictated the line of SECRET CHLOE. She ran wide around the bend and into the back straight.
Race 6	www.greyhoundtips.co.nz Dash - C2 - 295	HOMEBUSH KALAMA checked out of the heels of GENISTA FLAME into the bend colliding with BOTANY HORNET. Soon after CAWBOURNE TOUCH checked out off LESTER when tightened by that dog.
Race 7	Shirley Veterinary Centre Dash - C3 - 295	CALL ME was slow to jump but improved quickly along the rail. Into the home straight CALL ME collided with FLAT BATTERY.
Race 8	Coalgate Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520	LAGER IN PARIS and GROUP ONE LYNN came together into the first bend resulting in a trailing HERE EYE AM striking the rail. All three lost ground. HERE EYE AM was vetted after the race and found with no injury. SLENDER CHANCE who was selected as a swab dog was lame when retrieved from the swab kennels. A veterinary check revealed pain in the right hock on flexion with a 21 day stand down recommended.
Race 9	Dave Emerson Consultancy Sprint - C3 - 295	SAFE AND SECURE was slow to jump but improved quickly along the rail into the bend. OHOKA DUKE was tightened into the bend and into the home straight checked out sharply off the heels of REGGAE BOND. Approaching the home straight SAFE AND SECURE and WINSOME FLYER came together for a number of strides with both losing ground. SAFE AND SECURE was vetted after the race and found with minor lacerations to his hind legs with no stand down recommended.
Race 10	$15,000 Pick 6 Leg 1 - SPECA - 295	OHOKA TASH was slow to jump and improved into the bend before easing and drifting out to a clear last. Stewards showed the race film to Trainer RH ADCOCK who confirmed that in his opinion she had eased due to field shyness. Stewards deemed OHOKA TASH to have failed to pusue in terms of Rule 80.1.b. As this was her second offence she was stood down for a period of 3 months up to and including 1 September 2010 and ordered to undertake a Satisfactory Trial. KNOW GOOD ran inwards after the jump tightening KNOW QUESTION then BOMBER MAN before striking the heels of MULBERRY RECO losing ground. KNOW GOOD was subject to a veterinary check which revealed a laceration between toes of the left hind which required sutures. A 10 day stand down was recommended.
Race 11	Canterbury O.T.B Association Stakes - C2 - 520	MIXED GRILL was slow to jump. Into the first bend CALM WAVES and CAWBOURNE RAPID came together and did so around the bend and into the back straight before CALM WAVES was struck from behind by KNOW TRUTH who was trying to move outwards. Both CALM WAVES and CAWBOURNE RAPID were badly checked to finish at the rear. CALM WAVES was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury.
Race 12	Power Farming Ltd Sprint - SPECA - 295	HONOUR was slow to jump. Into the home straight PATTY'S GIRL was tightened by KNOW BETTER losing ground.
Race 13	I Pave Concrete Dash - SPECA - 295	CHILE WILL HE was slow to jump. OHOKA KERRY was tightened by MILLY'S MATE around the bend.
Race 14	Speight's Six Pack - C3 - 520	KNOCK 'EM DOWN was a late scratching when found to be favouring his left hind leg when removed from his kennel for race start preparation. Around the first bend QUETEE JEWEL was dragged down by AKON STAR both being checked which resulted in CAWBOURNE BOLT and CROSSFIRE MAX running wide.
