Judicial report: K.Sutch-Jones had first starters KISSIN KATE entered in race one and litter mate MOTHERLEE entered in race three. On checking the race one dog prior to the runners leaving the kennels area, the Head Kennel Steward discovered that the brands were incorrect and the dog was in fact MOTHERLEE and that Mr Sutch Jones had kennelled the dogs for the wrong races. The correct dog KISSIN KATE was then collected from the race three kennel and the dogs duly started in the correct races. Mr Sutch -Jones was issued with a warning and reprimanded. The Identification Steward, who left the track soon after the mistake was discovered, will be questioned at the Clubs meeting on 28.05.10 regarding the fact that the dogs were clearly wrongly identified at kennelling time.

Race 1	Allied Work Force 0800 Labour - C0 - 305	One of the favourites ASK PLEASE was very slow to begin and settled at the rear. She then appeared to make brushing contact with the rail on the first corner losing further ground and finished in last place. TRAVEL THYME was midfield on the first corner and it also appeared to make slight contact with the rail and eased. This could not be conclusively confirmed on video and a close watch will be kept on TRAVEL THYME in future races.
Race 2	Wanganui Farm Supplies - C0 - 520	The favourite FREDDY JOHN was slow to begin but made up ground until he collided with KERRY'S DELIGHT on the first corner and then bounced out and made contact with KEITHY GEE and went back to last. FREDDY JOHN did make up some ground to finish in 6th place. KEITHY GEE moved in entering the back straight and checked UNDER ORDERS who lost ground and finished in last place.
Race 3	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd - C0 - 305	CORPORAL JONES and GET A PERM were slow to begin and settled at the rear. GET A PERM then checked off the back of DUBLIN BAY on the first corner and dropped back onto CORPORAL JONES and they lost several lengths and stayed back to finish in the rear group.
Race 4	Advance Pet Nutrition - C0f - 520	KARN and ROADMAN'S SHACK collided on the first corner and lost momentum. ROADMAN'S SHACK recovered to go on and win the race but KARN drifted out to finish in last place. GREAT AUNTY MIN was jostled between COLD GIN and MISS SNOW ANGEL approaching the home turn and lost ground.
Race 5	Guthrie Bowron, Wanganui - C1 - 305	SYDENHAM PRETTY moved in on the first corner and checked VALIDICTION who went back and out and caused checks to PHANTOM FOG and HOMEBUSH JONAH and all three lost ground and finished well back.
Race 6	Vita Power - C1 - 520	BRUTUS FINALE was handy to the first corner but was checked as REALON RAZZLE moved in and BRUTUS FINALE then moved out and forced WANDY KYLE and UPAHUT CITY wide over extra ground on the bend.
Race 7	Bilderbeck Construction - C1 - 305	HOMEBUSH CINDY moved in racing to the first corner and jostled ASH VEGAS who then moved out and caused checks to BLUE BULLET, TREY BAXTER, CRAZY BABY and TUI CAN DO and they all lost ground and finished in the last four places.
Race 8	Mickey's Super Liquor - C1 - 520	CAWBOURNE SNOWY and ELLA'S ANGEL collided on the first corner and CAWBOURNE SNOWY lost a little ground. SLICE OF MAGIC was slow to begin and settled in last place but started to make up ground entering the back straight and continued a big run to win the race.
Race 9	Keenan Concrete Wanganui : 6 Pack - C1 - 305	The start of this event was delayed a couple of minutes due to very heavy rain falling at the advertised start time. LITTLE RIDDLE and DEL TONES were slow to begin and LITTLE RIDDLE then ran very wide on the bend and into the straight and he finished in last place. HOMEBUSH MELL also ran wide over extra ground on the bend and finished in the rear group.
Race 10	Broad Roofing Services - C1 - 305	UPAHUT WITCH and THRILLING GABBY were both slow to begin. UPAHUT WITCH never made up ground and finished in last place. The favourite MIDNIGHT KIWI drew box 7 and although running a little wide, he had every chance but could only finish in 6th place.
