Judicial report: Steven McInerney was questioned in regards to the late kennelling of some of his dogs. He stated that he encountered heavier than normal traffic on the way to the races today. His explanation was accepted on this occasion but was informed that a repetition would not be tolerated and that if looking to be held up in traffic he should contact Stewards if possible.

Race 1	Terry Ryan Timber Battle of the Sexes Heat 1 - R/Aq - 318 Heat 1	OCTANE SPARK was tightened along the inside into the bend and lost ground. Wider out BUTTERWORTH was dragged down for a stride and drifted to the rear. There was no head on view available for this race.
Race 2	Sandy Shane Stakes - C0 - 527	COLD FINGERS and DARK TURBO were slow to jump with COLD FINGERS making ground well for second. Again no head on view was available.
Race 3	Terry Ryan Timber Battle of the Sexes Heat 2 - R/Aq - 318 Heat 2	TIM BAXTER was hard to box in this event and was subsequently placed on the box first list. SCOTT NO WIVES and TIM BAXTER were the slowest to jump. TIM BAXTER checked outwards off the back of JET MINT into the bend and lost momentum.
Race 4	Cutie's Sister Stakes - C1 - 527	KAZZ RAZZ headed straight to the rail at the jump and dictated the line of ELLA'S ANGEL for a few strides. Into the first bend GLORIANNA and TEE KAY GIRL were tightened and lost ground settling at the rear. On the home bend ELLA'S ANGEL checked outwards for a stride as WANDY KYLE passed her and crossed to the rail. Following the race HOMEBUSH BROCK was subject to a post race veterinary check that revealed abrasions with no stand down recommended.
Race 5	$20,000 Pick6 Stakes - C1/2 - 527	LADY MARIANNE and THRILLING MISS were the last to jump. Into the first bend DESTINE TO EXCEL appeared to brush the rail and lose ground remaining in last place with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury.
Race 6	Gotta Cruise Stakes - C3/4 - 527	TRIPLE TEE and DAME DIMANTE came together in the early stages with DAME DIMANTE losing a length. At the end of the back straight MATILDA'S BEST and TRIPLE TEE came together with both runners losing some momentum.
Race 7	Thornton Auctions Sprint - C5 - 318	PAYNEFUL TRUTH was last to jump. Soon after the start TRUE INTENTIONS and ROBOTUSSEN came together while soon after ROBOTUSSEN ran inwards checking an improving PAYNEFUL TRUTH who lost ground.
Race 8	Varvatos Stakes - C4/5 - 527	MINT OCTANE was awkwardly away and remained last throughout. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. Handler Denis Schofield was informed that a better performance would be expected at this dog's next start. He told the Stewards that the kennel had expected the dog to perform well after a good trial this week and that the dog would be extensively revetted this week and that he would report any abnormalites to Stewards following the examination. EXCELLENT BEC checked outwards off runners into the first bend and lost ground.
Race 9	Cheeky Bonnie Stakes - C1 - 527	GIRL CHARM was last to jump but did well to run second. TONY CAN'T GO received a check into the first bend losing ground. He ran on late for fourth.
Race 10	Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C1 - 318	A combination of PUNK SCOOTER wanting to run out with POSTMAN JIM angling to the rail into the bend resulted in STILL NO TRACK and LUCK NOW JENNI both being badly checked and losing their chances.
