Judicial report: B.Goldsack was fined $ 35-00 under Rule 71.4 when he failed to catch a dog as arranged following race 2. W.T.Hodgson was fined $ 150-00 under Rule 88.1 o for negligence for a breach of Rule 71.2 when he was late to retrieve his dog from the kennels to prepare for race 5.

Race 1	Allied Work Force 0800 Labour - C0 - 305	CATCH ME CARTER was the slowest to begin and settled in last place. He was then checked on the first corner when racing onto the heels of SINGLE SCULLER and lost three lengths and finished in last place. PINTA GUINNESS was handy to the first corner but was checked losing four lengths when CELIA FATE moved in. He was then observed to be running on at the finish for 4th placing.
Race 2	Wanganui Farm Supplies - C0 - 520	ALWAYS A PIRATE was forced to race very wide on the first bend after starting from box 8 and he was then observed to falter when entering the back straight losing a little ground. He was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 3	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd - C1 - 305	GYM CLASS HERO and HOMEBUSH BREE were the slowest to begin and GYM CLASS HERO then made contact with STILL NO TRACK on the first corner and forced that runner wide into the bend. GYM CLASS HERO then made contact with YES MISS as that runner improved on the inside and they both lost ground and they never recovered and finished in 5th and 7th places. HOMEBUSH BREE recovered from the slow start and finished in 4th place.
Race 4	Advance Pet Nutrition - C1 - 520	HOMEBUSH WARRIOR and UPAHUT CITY collided twice early in the race and HOMEBUSH WARRIOR settled in last place and he did not appear to be striding out correctly thereafter and finished at the rear. He was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. One of the favourites JACK BANNER was bumped and pushed wide on the first bend and he was checked again entering the back straight and again on the home turn and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 5	Guthrie Bowron, Wanganui - C2 - 305	Permission was given by the T.A.B for this event to start three minutes late when JOSHIE'S GIRL was late being collected from the kennels to proceed to the start. Trainer W.T.Hodgson was subsequently charged with being late for race preparation. ( refer to Judicial notes ) HORSE POWER and PSYCHOTIC were both checked and lost ground on the first corner.
Race 6	Vita Power - C2/3 - 520	BLACK IS BACK and PURE CHEMISTRY were both checked when starting on the first bend and both lost ground which they were never able to make up and they finished in 5th and 6th places. ANDY D'GANDY raced several lengths behind the 2nd last dog for most of the race and he was examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with shoulder muscle soreness.
Race 7	Bilderbeck Construction - C5 - 305	SUPER SAGE was slow to begin and settled three lengths last but then made up some ground to finish in 6th place.
Race 8	Pedigree For Dogs - C4/5 - 520	RUMOUR TISM settled well back and was then checked entering the back straight and lost four lengths but did make up some ground to finish in 6th place. She was observed to have suffered a spike wound, was examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days.
Race 9	Keenan Concrete 6 Pack - C4 - 305	UPAHUT ZORRO moved out in the back straight and forced FARMOR ENFORCER to race wide going to the first corner. MISS AGENT ran out a little on the first corner and made contact with DA COOLA who was pushed onto BIGTIME PAL and all three lost ground and they finished in the last three places.
Race 10	www.wanganuicarcentre.com - C3 - 305	PENIE'S FROM and SPECTRA CONQUEST came together and bumped and lost a little momentum when entering the home straight.
