Judicial report: The inquiry which was opened and adjourned into the late scratching of three greyhounds at the Wellington Clubs meeting on 07.05.10 was concluded and other than to speak advisedly with the Trainers representative, no further action was considered necessary on this ocassion.
I.George the Trainer of CHAMSIN CREEK was fined $ 100-00 under Rule 69.11 when the dog was presented 2.0 kilograms over its last start weight on 30.04.10.

Race 1	Allied Work Force 0800 Labour, Veteran - SPECA - 305	THRILLING SKITZ who had not started for 6 months was 2.8 kilograms down on its last start weight and when questioned the Trainer advised that she was happy with the weight and THRILLING SKITZ was passed fit to race by the Vet. DREAM ON CYRUS, THRILLING NEO and MR CLONTARF were checked and lost ground on the first corner. MR CLONTARF recovered to finish well for 3rd place but the other two stayed back and finished in the rear group.
Race 2	Wanganui Farm Supplies - C0 - 520	All clear.
Race 3	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd - C0 - 305	KARAKA CHARLIE ran in from the start and collided with GENTLE ATTACK and they settled at the rear and stayed back to finish in the last two places. KARAKA CHARLIE drifted off the back of the field and finished several lengths last and was examined by the Vet as a precaution and stood down for 7 days with a thigh muscle injury. MIDNIGHT KIWI ran out soon after the start and forced CATCH ME CARTER wide in the early running. These two dogs came together and bumped again early in the home straight but recovered to finish in 3rd and 4th places.
Race 4	Advance Pet Nutrition - C1q - 520 Heat 1	GO BOOF went up with the box lids and settled in last place but he then gradually made up ground during the running and finished in 4th place.
Race 5	Guthrie Bowron, Wanganui - C0f - 305	TUI CAN DO ran out from box 2 and TREY BAXTER ran in from box 7 from the start and all runners drawn in between were tightened and lost varying amounts of ground. TUI CAN DO checked over the heels of TINY TITCH approaching the straight entrance and moved out causing a check to KERRY'S DELIGHT and both lost ground when running wide and they finished in the last two places.
Race 6	Vita Power - C1q - 520 Heat 2	PURE FURY was slow to begin and settled in last place. She then raced wide over extra ground throughout and finished in 6th place. The eventual winner BOTANY BARB ran in from box 8 and checked FLOATING AWAY and CAWBOURNE SNEAKY who both lost ground and settled back in the field.
Race 7	Pedigree For Dogs - C0 - 520	ALWAYS A PIRATE moved in on the first corner and checked ORANGA PAI who then moved out and raced wide on the bend and forced MISS SNOW ANGEL very wide on the track. MISS SNOW ANGEL recovered to make up ground and she finished in 4th place but ORANGA PAI never recovered and finished in last place.
Race 8	Bilderbeck Construction, Wanganui - C0 - 305	ALL ABOUT LOUD moved out on the home turn and WANDY WANNABE clipped her heels and fell. WANDY WANNABE was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 9	Keenan Concrete, Wanganui 6 Pack - C1q - 520 Heat 3	HOMEBUSH WARRIOR moved in on the first corner and checked JONES BAXTER who then ran very wide over extra ground on the first bend and lost ground.
Race 10	Broad Roofing Services, Wanganui - C1 - 305	The favourite KINGSBURY was a little slow to begin and settled near the rear. He was then checked on the first corner when TURF MOOR moved out slightly but KINGSBURY then switched down to the rail and finished well for 2nd placing.
