| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour - C0 - 305 | RUSTY SAM was very slow to begin losing several lengths and he tailed the field throughout to finish in last place. GYM CLASS HERO moved in on the first corner and checked PINTA GUINNESS who dropped back causing checks to PAPA GEORGIO and CALM EXPRESS and they all lost ground but recovered to finish in 3rd 4th and 5th places. |
| Race 2 | Wanganui Farm Supplies - C0 - 520 | KARAWE moved out on the first bend and marred IMA ROYAL and both ran wide over extra ground. GREAT AUNTY MIN and RIDDLE BOY collided on the final bend and both lost some momentum. RIDDLE BOY then moved out approaching the straight entrance and marred GREAT AUNTY MIN and soon after SURF GEM moved out and marred RIDDLE BOY and these three runners ran very wide into the straight but still managed to finish in 2nd, 3rd and 4th places. KARAWE, RIDDLE BOY and SURFER GEM were all stood down for 28 days under Rule 80.1 a for marring and are required to complete a satisfactory trial. Starting on the final bend MISS SNOW ANGEL ran wide and forced THRILLING TAMMY wide on the track over extra ground. |
| Race 3 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd - C1 - 305 | JANIE PHOENIX and STAR SEEKER were checked on the first corner losing several lengths and all chance and soon after SUTCH HOPE was also checked and fell and he was examined by the Vet and stood down for 5 days with minor bruising. |

| Race 5 | Guthrie Bowron, Wanganui - C1 - 305 | LITTLE RIDDLE galloped on the back of the leader EVE HILL on the first corner and went back causing checks to MINDARIVA, UPAHUT CRYSTAL and LANSVALE SPARK. UPAHUT CRYSTAL lost several lengths in the incident and LANSVALE SPARK fell and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 5 days with slight swelling to a hock. |
| Race 6 | Vita Power - C1/2 - 520 | SURFER CHICK was checked on the first corner and went back onto JOE BANNER and they both lost ground and stayed back to finish in 6th and last places. JOE BANNER was examined by the Vet and found to have a spike wound but no stand down was required. |
| Race 7 | Pedigree For Dogs - C3/4 - 305 | Two runners Trained by W.T.Hodgson were late out onto the track due to Mr Hodgson having to have the Vet examine a runner from the previous race. JOSHIE'S GIRL began very awkwardly losing several lengths and she tailed the field throughout and finished in last place. UPAHUT ZORRO ran out from the start and he raced wide throughout covering extra ground and finished in 5th place. |
| Race 8 | Bilderbeck Construction, Wanganui - C3 - 305 | ALECIA RELTUB was very slow to begin losing several lengths but she made up ground to finish in 6th place. BIGTIME ACHIEVER who finished in 2nd place was observed to ease slightly over the final few strides and turned its head towards the eventual winner BIGTIME PAL racing on its inside. As a result, BIGTIME ACHIEVER was stood down for 28 days for failing to pursue the lure throughout and is required to complete a satisfactory trial. |
| Race 9 | Keenan Concrete Wanganui, 6 Pack - C5 - 305 | BIGTIME SURVIVOR was checked in the race to the first corner and lost ground and soon after WONGAWILLINEV and DARK SAGE were checked losing several lengths and all chance and they finished in the last two places with BIGTIME SURVIVOR just ahead of them. |
| Race 10 | www.wanganuicarcentre.com - C1/2 - 305 | ROYAL MINTY was checked on the first corner and went back and out causing checks to HORSE POWER, FIVE KAY KAT and CRYSTAL SAL and they all lost ground. ROYAL MINTY then ran very wide into the home straight and forced HORSE POWER wide over extra ground and they finished in the last two places. |
