Track: Good The track was turned on the 6.05.2010 and was presented in an excellent racing surface for todays meeting.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: The inquiry in to the withdrawl of THRILLING SIREN first reserve in race 6 on 3.05.2010 was reconvened.Trainer K Walsh was reminded of her obligations in respect of Rule 63.7 in the future.
An inquiry has been opened and adjourned in to the late withdrawl of 3 dogs from race 2 on tonights card, these dogs had received stand downs on the 5.05.2010 but had not been scratched by the kennel representive until sometime after the offical scratching time had closed
The club were able to advise the connections of the 2 reserve dogs whom were allowed to take their place in the field.

FLASH TRAV sucessfully completed a box trial under Rule 72.13 and is cleared to race again

Race 1	Opawa Racing Ltd Premier Sprint - C5q - 305 Heat 1	As the field left the boxes HEAR NO EVIL ran in across on to BUTTERWORTH and HERE IN SPRIT and putting them all of stride for a few metres. As the field neared the front straight HERE IN SPIRIT tried to come between dogs to get out wider and was tightened between HEAR NO EVIL and CAWBOURNE DORE ,resulting in these dogs running wide in to the home straight
Race 2	B & P Engineering - C1 - 520	The timing mechanism is not working at this stage and the timekeeper is endevouring to work through the problem. All clear
Race 3	Opawa Racing Ltd Premier Sprint - C5q - 305 Heat 2	As the field raced away from the boxes OPAWA MEGASTAR came across to wards the rain and caused tightning between POWERFUL ENEMY, CAWBOURNE WHIZ, ELITE LIKE and MAJOR HIT , CAWBOURNE WHIZ had to check back severly and moved out in to the line of THRILLING MIX and BACK DRAUGHT causing all these dogs to tangle and jostle for some distance. As the field entered the first turn there was more severe tightning resulting in ELITE LUKE and MAJOR HIT both making contact with the rail and ended up in the rear and were never able to get back in to contention thereafter. ELITE LUKE was sent for a vet check and was found to be suffering from a split webbing on left front with a 14 day stand down recommended. MAJOR HIT was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found
Race 4	Commercial Plumbing, Auckland - C3/4 - 305	The timing mechanism had been repaired for this race As the field left the boxes SCOTT NO WIVES and WHATA BOWLER collided .
Race 5	The Brownzy Sports Bar, NZ Futurity Group 2 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 1	As the field raced down to the first turn KID KOONAWARRA tried to cut down to the rail and forced FIFTH EDITION to run in to his rump and check back severly at that point KID KOONAWARRA kept on crossing towards the rail and ran on to OPAWA PATTY hampering her for a couple of strides ,as they raced in to the first turn CAWBOURNE SPEED came out of the inside on to FIFTH EDITION who was pushed out in to the running line of THRILLING SPY who was checked back again and ran wide causing her to lose groun d which she could'nt make up there after. SEPTEMBER BLUE was sent for a vet check and was found to be suffering from generalised muscle soreness with a 10 day stand down recommended
Race 6	Thornton Auctions 6 pack - C2/3 - 520	As the field got away from the boxes OKAY'S DE BRITTO and GOSS SAGE collided and OKAY'S DE BRITTO stumbled and then was observed to dip again going in to the first turn and went further back through the field and finished some distance behind the field ,was sent for a vet check where she was found to be suffering from pain in left wrist and left hock with a 14 day stand down recommended. MINI ZILLA was sent for a vet check as the dog did not look to be galloping comfortable throughout the race and was found to be suffering from generalised muscle soreness and acidosis with a 10 day stand down recommended
Race 7	The Brownzy Sports Bar, NZ Futurity Group 2 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 2	THRILLING SNEAK had to check back of the heels of OLYMPIC ACE as they raced in to the first turn ,he went bck towards the rear and never got in to contention from there on in
Race 8	Cafe Cibo Upper Hutt - C1/2 - 305	Soon after the start there was tightning caused by UPAHUT STAR racing across the face of the inside dogs resulting in HOMEBUSH KELLY being severly tightned and fell ,as this happened FAST STASS came over on to PSYCHOTIC and FIVE KAY KAT causing more tightning to these and the inside runners which cost them all to lose several lengths. As the field raced in to the first turn THRILLING KITE came out off the rail to the outside and ran in to PSYCHOTIC and they tangled for some distance as they tried to turn in to the bend. HOMEBUSH KELLY was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found
Race 9	The Brownzy Sports Bar, NZ Futurity Group 2 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 3	As the field raced in to the first turn HOMEBUSH CHARLI and MISS IDOL came together and came back on JET MINT and YAMBLA BOB had check back off heels and they came together as they went widein to and around the bend at that point
Race 10	Gold Band Finance - C3 - 305	LOOKS DECEIVING was awkwardly away from the boxes which cost her a couple of lengths. BIGTIME ACHIEVER ran 2nd in the race ,was noticed to be severly cramping as the dogs left the podium and was sent foer a vet check as a precaution , and came right at the kennels no stand down required
