| Race 2 | Hautapu Veterinary Clinic Stakes - C1 - 457 | DESTINE TO EXCEL was awkwardly out of the boxes. LIL' LARRIKIN ran outwards soon after the jump checking DESTINE TO EXCEL and GIRL CHARM who settled well back. GIRL CHARM ran on well for fourth. |
| Race 3 | Clubhouse Sports Bar Stakes - C1 - 457 | SNOWIE SECRET was slow from the inside. SPRING TYDE and PUNK SHOT were both tightened into the bend and lost ground. |
| Race 4 | YGOT Bonus Scheme Sprint - C2 - 375 | THRILLING COLA and the favourite THRILLING LLOYD were the last to jump. THRILLING LLOYD was pushed wide around the bend when attempting to improve amnd ran on late for fifth. On the home turn KARATA ROAD checked outwards sharply and collided into THRILLING LEE who dropped to the rear. THRILLING LEE was subject to a post race veterinary check that revealed split webbing and a torn dew claw with a twenty one day stand down recommended. |
| Race 5 | Interislander Sprint - C4 - 375 | TRIPLE TEE was awkwardly away and then came together with SEELEY BOOTH soon after the jump with both dogs settling well back. |
| Race 6 | NZRS Middle Distance Final - NZRSf - 457 | WINSOME OPAWA was badly checked when racing on the outside of EMBEZZLEMENT into the bend and lost ground. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. The pacemaking HARAJUKU BOY ran wide into the home straight pushing kennelmate HAILEY'S AGENT over extra ground. |
| Race 7 | Protector Safety Stakes - C1 - 457 | THRILLING BLAST was last to jump. As this dog was improving it got on the back of FRAGMENTS and lost ground. On the home turn FRAGMENTS ran inwards and badly checked JAYDEN'S COURAGE who lost ground with LADY MARIANNE and THRILLING BLAST being forced wide as a result. |
| Race 8 | Te Awamutu Self Storage Stakes - C4 - 457 | ST. WILD, FANCY GIRL and BUT WHY NOT all came together at the jump while into the bend STAR TO EXCEL and ST. WILD made contact when in midfield. |
| Race 9 | Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Sprint - C5 - 375 | THRILLING WAG ran inwards sharply at the jump checking FANCY SPIDER, PRIVATE PEDRO and POSTMAN JIM who all settled back in the field. This race was hand timed due to the tractor on the harness track setting off the automatic timing mechanism. |

Into the bend PRESSURE POINT and CLOVERLEA ROAD came together with PRESSURE POINT dropping out to finish last with a post race veterinary check revealing a ruptured monkey muscle with a twenty one day stand down recommended. |
