Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: LUKES FORTUNE (P.Hammond) successfully completed a Satisfactory Trial as required under Rule 81.1.
At the conclusion of Race 8 a dog escaped onto the outside of the track. The dog was subsequently identified as THRILLING RILEY and a check with the handler Mr W.Smith who was involved handling in Race 8 revealed that the dog had pushed through and broken the bolt on the cage in the van. No further action was taken in light of the circumstances.

Race 1	Otago First 4 Sprint - C0 - 310	Race start held up 1 minute to replace broken muzzle on one of the starters. SAM BAXTER was very slow to jump and lost several lengths to finish at the rear of the field.
Race 2	Brian Bagley Driver Licensing & Training Stakes - C0 - 545	Into the first turn the BOMBAY TRAM was tightened as the field came together and went back onto BOTANY MATTHEW who ran outwards and forced OHOKA BEN and SPIRAL EBONY wide on the track. The early leader SPIRIT OF GRACE broke down on the final turn and went back through the field to finish last. A veterinary check of SPIRIT OF GRACE showed the dog to have soreness on the left hip with a 7 day stand down recommended.
Race 3	Paws Inn Boarding Kennel Sprint - C1 - 310	SENORITA SISSY and TEMPTING OFFER were slow to jump and then came together into the turn, before TEMPTING OFFER ran on strongly for third at the line.
Race 4	Presidents Sprint - C1 - 310	ZORRO MAN was very slow to jump and never recovered to finish well back in the field.
Race 5	St Kilda Tavern Stakes - C1 - 545	REAL SLIM SHADY was slow to jump and very wide in the run to the first turn. Into the back straight EL KILDA collided with KICKING HORSE who went back through the field to finish at the rear. On the final turn HERE EYE AM struck the rear of EL KILDA and lost ground before running on late for third. KICKING HORSE was subject to a veterinary check which showed the dog to have a broken toe on his left hind foot with a 30 day stand down recommended.
Race 6	Life Members Sprint - C3 - 310	Into the turn JEALOUS GLANCE ran outwards and checked HAYLEY"S ACE who then forced CLEEVE HILL and FANTASY BAXTER wide with these dogs filling the last three places.
Race 7	Queens Birthday Sprint - C2 - 310	From the jump CAWBOURNE TOUCH ran outwards and checked the running of CALM WAVES and SILENT WHISPER with these three dogs coming together into the turn and losing ground to fill the last three places. On the turn GENISTA FLAME pushed outwards and checked LESTER.
Race 8	Keyosk Service Bar Stakes - C1 - 545	On the first turn SLOPOKE RODRIGEZ moved outwards and forced FUNTASTIC BOY wide. In the back straight KAYTEE DIVA ran out and SLOPOKE RODRIGEZ clipped the heels of that dog and fell, before recovering his feet to finish a distant last. SLOPOKE RODRIGEZ was subject to a veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss.
Race 9	Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Stakes - C3/4 - 545	On the first turn BOTANY KELLY ran out and checked ZITA GRACE. On the final bend MARKO POLO went back onto an improving BOTANY KELLY with that dog losing momentum before running on late for fourth. CONTINUE was third into the final run home but in a blanket finish for the minor placings finished at the rear.
Race 10	Paws Inn Boarding Kennel Sprint - C4 - 310	From the jump CAWBOURNE HAPPY and NATALIE BALE collided with CAWBOURNE HAPPY stumbling and losing ground. In the run to the turn ZAGAR pushed outwards and checked the running of NATALIE BALE and RUDE RODNEY. Then into the turn NATALIE BALE struck the rear of LOTTO LEO and wend back on topof the trailing RUDE RODNEY.
Race 11	www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C2 - 545	Into the first turn KNOW TRUTH and HOMEBUSH OSO came together with HOMEBUSH OSO checked and losing ground to finish at the rear.
Race 12	Speedprint Shop Stakes - C5 - 545	Into the first turn CAWBOURNE BUNDY was struck in the rear by PATTY'S GIRL before then coming together with LILETTE BALE and losing ground to finish well back in the field.
Race 13	Green Island Barber Sprint - C4 - 310	In the run to the turn MISS BRUGGE crossed from an outside draw and checked the running of BRASS KNUCKLES who then went back on top of a trailing CAWBOURNE DUNE.
Race 14	S R Double D Syndicate Sprint - C5 - 310	In the run to the turn TUNZA REVS clipped the rear of SAINT DANIEL and fell heavily taking no competitive part in the race. As TUNZA REVS fell he went back onto a trailing CAWBOURNE CLICK who was severely checked and lost all chances. TUNZA REVS was subject to a veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss.
Race 15	Racing Again Next Thursday Sprint - C5 - 310	From the jump CURVE BALL pushed outwards and checked the running of AZURE OSTI, then continued to run outwards and pushed AZURE OSTI and BABE'S BOY wide on the track. BOB BAXTER was tightened on the turn between RON'S SAINT and LIAM BALE and lost ground.
