Track: Heavy The track was heavy due to rain over the weekend and steady rain throughout the meeting. The Curator did not groom the track as a result during the 10 race program.

Race 1	Nick's Petfood Ltd Stakes - C0 - 520	GIMME A DREAM was slow to jump. Into the first bend MIGHTY PANTHERS clipped the heels of OHOKA ZOE losing ground to finish a distant last. Soon after OHOKA ZOE was tightened by MORIARTY before checking outwards to run wide around the bend. MIGHTY PANTHERS was subject to a veterinary check which revealed a sore right gracilus with a 10 day stand down recommended.
Race 2	Braided River Restaurant & Bar Dash - C1 - 295	CHASIN' CROWS was slow to jump but improved quickly along the rail to be up behind the leaders into the bend. MRS.PATCH ran out after the jump with CAWBOURNE MADZ running inwards resulting in KNOW SOON and CAWBOURNE LISA being tightened with both losing ground.
Race 3	Moore Architecture Ltd Stakes - C1 - 520	BOTANY FREDA was very slow to jump. Into the first bend JOSH BAXTER hit the hindquarters of THRILLING BUSTA who was turned sideways before colliding with MAINLAND STAR, both dogs being checked. Into the back straight TOKEN RAGE and LIFE'S GREAT came together for a few strides.
Race 4	Happy Birthday Jack Shaw Dash - C2 - 295	ANY BAD HABITS and ASTRO DAVE were checked when tightened into the bend. Shortly after the finish line EXCITING KYLE was tightened and fell, quickly regaining his feet to finish on the lure. A veterinary check revealed nothing amiss.
Race 5	Methven Panel & Paint Ltd Stakes - C2/3 - 520	KNOW BEST drifted to the rear soon after the jump.
Race 6	Christchurch Demolition & Salvage Dash - C3 - 295	WHITE PHOSPHORUS was slow to jump. RON'S SECRET, BIGTIME FORCE and CAWBOURNE SIENNA came together into the bend with CAWBOURNE SIENNA coming back on HAREEBA GOLD and OLD MATE DAVE. HAREEBA GOLD ran out onto OLD MATE DAVE into the home straight when racing at the rear.
Race 7	South Rakaia Hotel Stakes - C4 - 520	WHAT A MATE and ELIE SAAB were slow to jump. CAWBOURNE BOLT ran away from the rail into the first bend colliding with SLICK RICK with both sustaining checks.
Race 8	Trevor Inwood Spencer Park Dash - C4 - 295	Into the home straight SAFE AND SECURE moved away from the rail coming in contact with CARNABY.
Race 9	Connie Smallridge Memorial Ashburton Cup - C5 - 520	All clear.
Race 10	J.H. Cleary "How's It Going" Memorial Sprint - C5 - 295	REDLINE CHAOS was slow to jump. MISS BRUGGE and KATIE MAC were tightened into the bend both losing ground.
