Weather: Raining
Track: Good 53mls of rain were recorded in the on track rain guage in the 24 hours prior to the start of today's meeting. A further 18 mls were recorded during the duration of the meeting. The track held up well despite the inclement conditions. The Track Curator made the decision in consultation following grooming of the track after Race 1 to not groom the track further during the meeting as the rain was being caught up in the residual tyre marks of the tractor.

Race 1	Advance Pet Nutrition Dash - C0 - 295	CURRAHEE, SENORITA SISSY and MRS.PATCH were tightened by dogs on their outer soon after the jump. Into the bend LYNDOUR GEM, ONE WILD THING and LADY PARKA came together losing ground before GROUP ONE BEST moved outwards tightening these three again. An improving MRS.PATCH ran into the rear of these dogs losing all chance. ONE WILD THING was subject to a veterinary check which revealed a small split in the left hind webbing with a 10 day stand down recommended.
Race 2	Challenge Opawa All Up Sprint - C1 - 295	TEPIRITA TIKI and SOULJAH STORM ran down towards the rail into the bend tightening BABA GANOOSH, BOTANY NORMA and CAWBOURNE MADZ. Around the bend TEPIRITA TIKI moved away from the rail forcing YALDHURST FLYER into the path of SOULJAH BOY who clipped heels and almost fell losing all chance. A veterinary check revealed no injury.
Race 3	www.containersdirect.co.nz Stakes - C0 - 520	MAKE ME PROUD was slow to jump settling a clear last. ANNE OF CLEVES and THRILLING EAGLE came together into the first bend losing ground.
Race 4	Garrard's Horse & Hound Sprint - C0 - 295	Into the bend BULLFIGHTIN' JIMI forced SKIPPING RHYMES down into the path of EXCITING KYLE who lost ground before moving inwards forcing TOSHIMI to check out his hindquarters.
Race 5	Tuesday Place Pick Dash - C1 - 295	SHEZA COOL ONE was tightened by dogs on her outer into the bend. Soon after SOMETIMES ALAN moved down into the path of MUSTARD FUDGE and was dragged down as a result. Around the bend BOTANY FREDA and JUST BEATRICE came together losing momentum. Short of the winning post the winner CAWBOURNE TOUCH ran inwards taking the line of HOMEBUSH BURT who was tightened.
Race 6	Addington Events Centre Stakes - C0 - 520	BOMBAY TRAM was slow to jump. Into the first bend THRILLING ROBYN, BOMBAY TRAM and MULBERRY ROSE came together with THRILLING ROBYN being checked.
Race 7	Celtic Arms Tavern Sprint - C1 - 295	BOTANY HENRY jumped awkwardly from the boxes losing ground. Into the bend CHOOK CHOOK, CAWBOURNE JODIE and LEO'S BOY came together losing all chance.
Race 8	www.greyhoundtips.co.nz Stakes - C1 - 520	iIn the run to the first bend KNOW TURBO moved out onto BLACK PAN who came in contact with KICKING HORSE and FUNTASTIC BOY all three losing ground. KICKING HORSE and FUNTASTIC BOY came together again further around the bend and into the back straight.
Race 9	Canterbury O.T.B. Association Dash - C1 - 295	Around the bend BREAKING BOND and RON'S SECRET came together coming back on SPIN A TITLE. Soon after BOTANY TOM and RON'S SECRET collided with RON'S SECRET forced out onto CAWBOURNE SERENE and KNOW WONDER.
Race 10	$25,000 Pick 6 Leg 1 Dash - C2 - 295	VAMPIRES SHADOW, ROTKARA MOMENTS and WICHITA LINEMAN were slow to jump. Around the bend an improving VAMPIRES SHADOW checked outwards coming in contact with BETTY BEATZER and RED TIGER who both lost ground.
Race 11	Excelsior Sports Bar & T.A.B. Stakes - C1 - 520	MOST HAUNTED and MAMAJA were slow to jump. PROTEST LINE ran wide around the first bend colliding with MAMAJA both losing all chance.
Race 12	Shirley Veterinary Centre Stakes - C1 - 520	MOLLY PARTON ran in after the jump tightening SECRET CHLOE and into the first bend tightened SLENDER CHANCE with both dogs losing ground.
Race 13	The Miller Bar & Cafe Sprint - C1 - 295	DROOPY'S STORM and WATERHOUSE drifted to the rear after the jump. DROOPY'S STORM improved quickly between dogs into the bend initially checking HEAVEN'S BEST and then BELFAST MUNCHA, WATERHOUSE and KNOW SOON.
Race 14	Speight's Six Pack Stakes - C1 - 520	UNDER COVER was slow to jump. Into the first bend LAGER IN PARIS and DUDLEY RAMA came together coming back on WODSTON BOBO and DEVOTCHKA with all four losing ground.
Race 15	Be Back Thursday Night Dash - C2 - 295	SILENT WHISPER was tightened by REDLINE REVOLVER into the bend when racing near the rear.
