Health and Safety comment: It has been noted recently that a number of catchers have been failing to comply with the provisions of Rule 71.10 when removing the muzzles from placegetters when returning to the dias. This is drawn to the attention of all trainers and handlers to ensure rule compliance.

Judicial report: Trainer BC DANN was warned for a breach of Rule 71.10 when he failed to observe that a trialled dog was not wearing a muzzle. Kennel Steward S WIGLEY was also reminded of her obligations when checking reserve dogs prior to trialling. The Club photographer DI ROBBIE was warned to ensure that his finish line photographs were taken sufficiently clear of the photo finish as it was reported that on recent occasions and once today that the flash from his camera had interfered with the photo finish print.

Race 2	Challenge Opawa All Up Dash - C1 - 295	JUST BEATRICE ran out after the jumping tightening and checking SING CILLA BLACK and ANY BAD HABITS. Soon after ANY BAD HABITS and FURMINATOR came together losing ground.
Race 3	Flair Maiden Stakes - C0 - 520	LIFE'S GREAT was slow to jump. Into the first bend SPIRIT OF GRACE and RULEBOOK RAY came together with SPIRIT OF GRACE falling and RULEBOOK RAY scrambling over her to lose all chance. SPIRIT OF GRACE regained her feet and finished the race with a veterinary check revealing soreness to the right groin and ileosacral spine with a 14 day stand down recommended.
Race 4	Sky High Scaffolding Sprint - C1 - 295	GENISTA COMANCHE ran outwards after the start checking YAKCAM, BELFAST MUNCHA and KARL BAXTER. Soon after HAMBURGER moved out into the path of BELFAST MUNCHA who again lost ground.
Race 5	Addington Events Centre Dash - C1 - 295	PROTEST LINE ran out into the bend colliding with LESTER and lost ground as a result.
Race 6	New Zealand Racing Series - NZRSq - 520 Heat 1	The winner APATCHE JET was knocked over and trampled by other dogs at the lure. A veterinary check revealed nothing amiss.
Race 7	New Zealand Racing Series - NZRSq - 520 Heat 2	OSWALD BOATENG was tightened coming back on CHILE TART as they entered the back straight. OSWALD BOATENG was within touch with the field at the end of the back straight but then started to drift finishing a long last. Co trainer AJ McCOOK was shown the race film and could offer no explanation for the performance. He confirmed that the dog had not tied up as he had at his previous start. He said he would return to trials with the dog's future race performances closely monitored by Stewards.
Race 8	New Zealand Racing Series - NZRSq - 520 Heat 3	Into the first bend KNOW QUESTION moved out onto SPEED TICKET who was forced onto UNION STEAM, all three losing ground.
Race 9	New Zealand Racing Series - NZRSq - 520 Heat 4	ALCATRAZ BOY checked out off KNOW SPIRIT around the first bend. Into the back straight KNOW SPIRIT checked out off the heels of DELUSIONIST.
Race 10	Barron's Supplies Sprint - C2 - 295	SPIN A TITLE came up with the lids losing four lengths. Into the bend CAWBOURNE SIENNA tightened BETTY BEATZER who checked back on DAIMLER DAVE who in turn checked LEO'S BOY and BOTANY KELLY. Into the home straight DAIMLER DAVE ran out coming in contact with LEO'S BOY and BOTANY KELLY.
Race 11	Tuesday Place Pick Dash - C2 - 295	SELF INFLICTED was very slow to jump. Into the bend LEVERAGE tightened KNOW LIFE and FROSTY EQUATOR who both gave ground before SURFIN' BIZAAR was tightened by ADDICTED TO LUV.
Race 12	www.canterburyproperty.co.nz Stakes - C1 - 520	Into the first bend UNDER COVER checked out off the heels of UNO JEWEL into the path of NATHAN OPAWA who was checked and hit heavily from behind by WARRIOR WIKI, both having their chances extinguished. NATHAN OPAWA was the subject of a veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss.
Race 13	Garrard's Horse & Hound Dash - C1 - 295	REDLINE REVOLVER scrambled from the boxes losing all chance.
Race 14	George Calvert Cleaning Sprint - C1 - 295	KNOW WONDER was slow to jump. LES HART ran in sharply after the jump colliding with YALDHURST FLYER who was forced down onto HAREEBA GOLD. Into the bend HAREEBA GOLD, YALDHURST FLYER and SHAZZ'S SAINT were tightened. Into the home straight SAFE AND SECURE endeavoured to improve inside LES HART, eventually checking out off that dog's heels.
Race 15	$15,000 Pick 6 Leg 1 - C1 - 520	MAINLAND STAR was tightened by OPAWA BROOKE into the back straight.
Race 16	Super Pets Sprint - C3 - 295	CHILE WILL HE was slow from the inside box and improved along the rail into the bend tightening LE FLAMBEUR, ROTKARA MOMENTS and TEE CEE with TALENT CITY being forced wide.
Race 17	Amber Cleaning Services Sprint - C2 - 295	TRIPLEM HAND and VERONICA were tightened into the bend both losing ground.
Race 18	David Emerson Consultancy Dash - C3 - 295	Into the bend WINSOME FLYER tightened OHOKA DUKE who came back on WONGAWILLIESTEVE and REDLINE CHAOS. REDLINE CHAOS was subject to a veterinary check which revealed a deep laceration to the right fore dew claw which required sutures with a 7 day stand down recommended.
Race 19	Speight's Six Pack - C1 - 520	DUDLEY RAMA was tightened in the run to the first bend. Into the bend LENNY'S FORTUNE and LAGER IN PARIS came together losing ground. Soon after TEDDY MARCELLO ran outwards colliding with DANCING POWER who was forced wide.
Race 20	Back Next Tuesday Stakes - C1 - 520	Into the first bend GENISTA SUMMER moved down to the rail checking KING OF CLUBS and MAMAJA who both lost ground.
