| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour - C1/2 - 305 | The favourite MISSY OCTANE began best of all and was still in the leading group on the first corner but BIGTIME EYE and UPAHUT STAR both moved out slightly on the first corner and this movement resulted in MISSY OCTANE being forced wide on the bend over extra ground and she dropped back to finish in 5th place. |
| Race 2 | Wanganui Farm Supplies - C1 - 520 | The favourite THRILLING LEWIS was a little slow to begin and settled near the rear. He then had to check entering the back straight when attempting to move through on the inside of HAMISH BAXTER and lost ground but then finished reasonably well for 4th placing. |
| Race 3 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd - C1/2 - 305 | THRILLING BLAST was slow to begin and lost three lengths but then ran on well for 4th place. CAWBOURNE GREG, CAWBOURNE WILKO and ME CLONTARF jostled together on the first corner and they all lost ground and finished in the last three places. |
| Race 4 | Advance Pet Nutrition - C1 - 520 | BLACK OCTANE, THRILLING SIREN and TAILS OFF bumped together on the first turn and all lost ground and they stayed back to finish in the rear group. THRILLING MINDY was checked on the final bend when racing inside HOMEBUSH BROCK and he dropped back and made contact with TAILS OFF and a couple of strides later with THRILLING SIREN and they finished in the last three places. |
| Race 5 | Guthrie Bowron, Wanganui - C3 - 305 | MILLIE'S ME MUM began very awkwardly losing four lengths but she made up ground well to finish in 4th place. TRICKY PAULA moved out on the first corner and made contact with ROYAL MINTY who then made contact with FLASHFIRE COAL and all lost several lengths and they never recovered and finished in the last three places. HORSE POWER checked off the heels of ROBUST BOY on the first corner and lost a little ground. |
| Race 6 | GEON Wellington - C4/5 - 520 | BIGTIME GEM eased off the heels of SIROCCO HERO racing into the final bend and soon after, FINN'S ANGEL checked off the heels of BIGTIME GEM and lost a little ground. |
| Race 7 | Pedigree For Dogs - C4 - 305 | UPAHUT ZORRO ran out in the back straight and bumped DA COOLA who became a little unbalanced and lost ground and he stayed back to finish in last place. AWESOME VINTAGE checked off the heels of SCOTT NO WIVES on the bend and lost ground and finished in 2nd last place. |

| Race 9 | Keenan Concrete Wanganui 6 Pack - C4/5 - 305 | NATASHA'S DUFFER was tightened and checked on the first corner when racing between FARMOR ENFORCER and MISS BRUGGE and she stayed back to finish in last place. BIGTIME MOE was checked losing three lengths when ELITE LUKE moved through on her inside when racing into the bend but she recovered to finish in 3rd place. |
| Race 10 | www.wanganuicarcentre.com - C4/5 - 305 | HUTT PARK FLYER and REGAL OUTLAW were slow to begin and settled at the rear. REGAL OUTLAW eased for a couple of strides on the first corner when avoiding the heels of CAWBOURNE DORE and he never recovered and finished in last place. HUTT PARK FLYER made contact with the rail after the winning post and she was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury. |
