| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour - C1 - 305 | All clear. |
| Race 2 | Guthrie Bowron, Wanganui - C1 - 520 | JOE BANNER and PURE FURY collided soon after the start and they both lost several lengths but recovered very well to finish in 1st and 2nd places. MANLY MAGIC led until the back straight but he and BIGTIME GUY were checked and lost ground at the end of the back straight when racing between OKAY'S BENNY BOY on the outside and SCOTCH AND DRY improving through on the inside. CAWBOURNE SNOWY was checked on the first turn when bumped from the inside by OKAY'S BENNY BOY and soon after by SCOTCH AND DRY and he lost four lengths in the incidents and could not make up the lost ground. |
| Race 3 | Wanganui Farm Supplies - C2 - 305 | EVAMORE and CAWBOURNE SCAREY jostled together for several strides near the first turn and eventually checked and dropped back onto DREAM SEEKER and all three lost ground and stayed back to finish in the last three places. The favourite PUNGAS LAD checked off the back of CAWBOURNE SPARK on the first corner and then ran wide on the bend over extra ground and finished in 4th place. |
| Race 4 | Advance Pet Nutrition - C2/3 - 520 | The favourite MINI ZILLA began a little awkwardly and then made contact with WANDY HAKA on two ocassions soon after the start and settled in last place. BORN ENTERTAINER ran wide into the first bend taking DESTINE TO EXCEL out onto MINI ZILLA who was checked losing several lengths and she stayed well back to finish in 2nd last place. |
| Race 5 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd - C2 - 305 | QUEEN FALCON jumped on terms with the other runners but drifted soon after to race several lengths behind the field and finished a long last. QUEEN FALCON was examined by the vet as a precaution and stood down for 7 days with a fan muscle injury. |
| Race 6 | Keenan Concrete 6 Pack - C3 - 305 | The eventual winner REGAL OUTLAW moved in racing to the first corner and checked TIPSY MAGOO who lost ground and she never recovered and finished in last place. |
| Race 7 | Mickey's Super Liquor - C4/5 - 520 | CAWBOURNE KING galloped on the back of FATHER FIGURE on the first corner and moved out causing a check to BIGTIME RELOADER with all three dogs losing ground. Soon after CAWBOURNE SPEED collided with FATHER FIGURE and they went back to the rear and finished well back. |

| Race 9 | Bilderbeck Construction - C4 - 305 | SHE ROCKS and UPAHUT ZORRO were a little slow to begiin losing two lengths. MISS BRUGGE was handy in 2nd place on the first corner but was checked from behind by BIGTIME MOE and fell. BIGTIME MOE also lost ground in the incident and SHE ROCKS had to hurdle the fallen runner and she lost several lengths and all chance of a dividend placing. MISS BRUGGE was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with injuries to a tricep and triangle muscles. |
| Race 10 | Broad Roofing Services, Wanganui - C4/5 - 305 | NATASHA'S DUFFER and DA COOLA were a little slow to begin and lost two lengths. CHINESE GIRL and CAWBOURNE CART led to the first corner but they jostled together for several strides and lost some momentum. |
