Judicial report: The inquiries into the scratchings of SWIP TASTIC at Manawatu on 29.03.10 and BOTANY TOM at Wanganui on 31.03.10 which were opened and adjourned at Wanganui on 31.03.10 have been satisfactorily concluded after discussion with Trainer J.T.McInerney and no further action is required on either matter.
The inquiry into alleged misconduct by J.McCook which was opened and adjourned at Wanganui on 26.03.10 has also been reconvened and concluded with J.McCook electing to admit a breach of the Rules 88.1 f and 88.1 o and he was was disqualified for 5 months with the penalty commencing at midnight on 07.04.10 and concluding at midnight on 07.09.10. C.Morris the Trainer of THRILLING NOTE was fined $ 100-00 under Rule 69.11 when the dog was presented 1.6 kilograms overweight from its last start on 24.03.10
P.Morris the Trainer of DOING THE TIME was fined $ 100-00 under Rule 69.11 when she presented the dog 1.9 kilograms over its last start weight on 24.03.10.
Wanganui Greyhound Club office Assistant L.Dillon was issued with a warning after she had received the scratching of MAGNIFICENT from race 5 but had ommitted to pass on the scratching to the office Manager and this had resulted in the dog being declared a late scratching. In reaching this decision, it was taken into account that L.Dillon is relatively new to the job and it was a first offence.

Race 1	Allied Work Force 0800 Labour - C0 - 305	KARN and VONRYANS XPRESS collided at the start and lost ground with VONRYANS XPRESS dropping out to last and he stayed there throughout and finished in last place. KARN then ran wide for the remainder of the race and finished in 2nd last place. FOUR TO MIDNIGHT and TREY BAXTER collided on the first corner with TREY BAXTER suffering most in the incident and he lost two lengths.
Race 2	Mickey's Super Liquor - C0 - 305	HOMEBUSH BROCK was checked on the first corner and dropped back causing checks to KARAKA ROYALE and FAWN ALLEGRO and all three lost ground and finished well back.
Race 3	Wanganui Farm Supplies - C1q - 520 Heat 1	OUR PLAYBOY and CAWBOURNE SNOWY collided in the run to the first corner and both lost a little ground. CAWBOURNE SNOWY recovered to finish in 3rd place but OUR PLAYBOY stayed back and finished in last place.
Race 4	Guthrie Bowron, Wanganui - C1q - 520 Heat 2	The favourite HOTWAX was the slowest to begin from box 8 and was last to the first corner. KNIGHT INVADER and BLACK DELORIAN collided on the first corner and BLACK DELORIAN was pushed wide causing checks to SCOTCH AND DRY and HOTWAX and all four dogs lost ground.
Race 5	GEON, Wanganui - C1 - 305	MAGNIFICENT was notified to the Club as a scratching by the required time but was inadvertantly left of the list and as a result was notified to the T.A.B as a late scratching. Refer to Judicial Notes. THRILLING TIM came away from the rail near the first corner and collided with CAWBOURNE ANN and lost ground. HOMEBUSH DAPHNE was checked from behind by PYFO WILLEE on the first corner and she drifted back and ran very wide on the bend and finished in last place.
Race 6	Keenan Concrete 6 Pack - C1q - 520 Heat 3	THRILLING JAGO moved off the rail on the first corner and pushed OKAY'S BENNY BOY out with resultant checks to DOING THE TIME, DAPTO TOKEN and BLACK SAVOY who fell. BLACK SAVOY was examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with a wrist injury. DOING THE TIME was also examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with a wrist injury.
Race 7	Advance Pet Nutrition - C1 - 305	CAWBOURNE BEAR was slow to begin and was then checked in the run to the first corner when BRUTUS FINALE moved in towards the rail. MAD DECISION galloped on the heels of CAWBOURNE ROD on the first corner and both lost ground and they finished in the last two places.
Race 8	Gary Ross Decorator - C1q - 520 Heat 4	MORE PORK, RUN BROADY RUN and BIGTIME COWELL bumped together at the start and they settled at the rear and never recovered and they finished in the last three places.
Race 9	Broad Roofing Services - C1 - 305	PURE DESIRE ran in from box 8 at the start and this resulted in bumping and checks to UPAHUT WITCH, CAWBOURNE BRIDE, THRILLING NOTE and OUR MAC and they all lost ground and settled well back. UPAHUT WITCH was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 10	www.wanganuicarcentre.com - C1 - 305	HOMEBUSH JONAH and HOMEBUSH BREE jostled together for several strides in the back straight and RISING GAS who was following was also checked and all three lost ground.
