Track: Good The track was presented in good condition which was maintained throughout the program.
Scales: Correct at 25kgs
Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: GA CLEEVE was issued with a warning after failing to catch LAGER IN PARIS at the conclusion of Race 17. The warning was given due to the fact that CLEEVE was detained in the veterinary room with one of his dogs which required sutures to injuries sustained in a previous race.

Race 1	Advance Pet Nutrition Sprint - C0 - 295	HAMISH BAXTER and HOMEBUSH BROCK came together when jumping from the boxes. Into the bend WANDY WANNABE moved inside TREY BAXTER and was struck by HOME AGAIN who was checked. HAMISH BAXTER, who was the each way favourite for the event and who was down 1.2kgs in weight since his win at Southland on 25 March 2010, was subject to a veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss.
Race 2	Challenge Opawa All Up Dash - C1 - 295	MATAGOURI MO was slow to jump. Into the bend CAWBOURNE BEAR moved outwards colliding with LEO'S BOY who in turn was found out onto YAKCAM who was badly checked. CAWBOURNE BEAR continued his outward movement striking the rear of LESTER who was also checked.
Race 3	Anglers Arms Tavern Dash - C1 - 295	Difficulty was experienced in loading FLASH TRAV into his box and after discussion with the Starter and trainer's representative J McInerney, FLASH TRAV was deemed hard to box and his papers endorsed accordingly in terms of Rule 72.10. ROTKARA MOMENTS was slow to jump. Into the bend TEE CEE ran down towards the rail checking KARL BAXTER who came back on SILENT WHISPER. TEE CEE continued his inward movement then checked LIAM TITLE before striking the heels of FLASH TRAV and checking outwards.
Race 4	Sky High Scaffolding Stakes - C0 - 520	BOMBAY TRAM was slow to jump. Into the bend MEDIVAC and MAINLAND STAR collided losing ground before being hit by KNOW SECRET, these three finishing at the rear.
Race 5	Barron's Supplies Sprint - C1 - 295	ARCHILLIES was slow to jump. TRIPLEM HAND, TIM BAXTER, WICHITA LINEMAN and THAT'S BIZAAR were badly checked when tightened by DASH into the bend. ARCHILLIES was vetted after the race and found with a superficial skin laceration to the left stifle with a 7 day stand down recommended.
Race 6	Addington Events Centre Dash - C1 - 295	Both SPIN A TITLE and LEVERAGE were slow to jump. HOMEBUSH BONITA ran outwards into the bend checking LES HART before BERT BADGER ran out and collided with both dogs. They filled the last three placings.
Race 7	www.canterburyproperty.co.nz Dash - C2 - 295	PALOMINE, CAWBOURNE RYE and ADDICTED TO LUV came together in the run to the bend with CAWBOURNE RYE being checked. Soon after POUTAMA RAMA was tightened by VAMPIRES SHADOW losing ground as a result.
Race 8	Power Farming Canterbury Stakes - C1 - 520	OPAWA BROOKE was tightened into the first bend as a result of UNION STEAM moving off the rail.
Race 9	Active Electrical Christchurch Ltd Dash - C3 - 295	Into the bend JEALOUS GLANCE moved down on CAWBOURNE SERENE who was forced onto CAWBOURNE BUNDY, both sustaining checks. Soon after MULBERRY MADAM, WONGAWILLIESTEVE and OSWALD BOATENG came together losing ground.JEALOUS GLANCE was vetted post race and found with right wrist pain on flexion with a 14 day stand down recommended.
Race 10	Amber Cleaning Services Sprint - C4 - 295	Around the bend TAIGA was struck from behind by CAWBOURNE CLICK, both being badly checked and coming back on OUR SWEET ROSE, KNOW NEED, ZAMMY and GENISTA GEORGIA who lost all chance. TAIGA was vetted post race with no injury detected.
Race 11	Tuesday Place Pick Sprint - C3 - 295	DA BOSS was slow to jump but improved quickly along the rail into the bend striking the hindquarters of HOMEBUSH BEST who was dragged down and fell with DA BOSS scrambling over the top of the fallen dog. HOMEBUSH BEST did not complete the race and she along with DA BOSS were the subject of veterinary checks which revealed HOMEBUSH BEST to have been concussed. She was put on a drip to assist recovery with a stand down of 14 days recommended. DA BOSS was found to be free of injury.
Race 12	Coaster's Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520	DANGLE THE CARAT was checked into the first bend when crossed by REDLINE REVOLVER. Into the back straight SAFARI STORM and CAWBOURNE SNEAKY came together with CAWBOURNE SNEAKY being badly checked. Trainer D FAHEY was shown the race film of the check to DANGLE THE CARAT and advised that Stewards would watch her upcoming performances.
Race 13	Super Pets Sprint - C1 - 295	CAWBOURNE WOODY ran in sharply after the jump tightening MISS WICKLOW and HOMEBUSH OSO. Into the bend he ran in further tightening SING CILLA BLACK and KILKENNY who were checked coming back on HOMEBUSH OSO.
Race 14	Dave Robbie Photographer Sprint - C2 - 295	COOL'S THE TUNE was checked when crossed by CLEEVE HILL into the bend.
Race 15	$15,000 Pick 6 Leg 1 - C4 - 295	CHILE WILL HE drifted to last after the jump. Around the bend and into the straight TARYN ROSE and BLACK MUSKAT came together on a number of occasions. CHILE WILL HE was subject to a veterinary check which revealed small lacerations to the left and right shoulders which required sutures with a 7 day stand down recommended.
Race 16	New Zealand Racing Series Distance Final - NZRSdf - 732	KNOW SPIRIT was tightened between dogs when vying for the lead into the first bend coming back on DUDLEY RAMA who was forced wide on the track.
Race 17	Kolorful Kanvas Stakes - C2 - 520	ALLEGRINI was checked when tightened by SPEED TICKET into the first bend. Into the back straight LAGER IN PARIS and BENJI LAFOURCHE came together with LAGER IN PARIS losing ground. No catcher was present to catch LAGER IN PARIS at the conclusion of the race. Trainer MM GRANT confirmed that he had engaged GA CLEEVE to catch the dog for him. CLEEVE when spoken to advised that he was detained in the vet's room as a result of his dog CHILE WILL HE requiring sutures for a wound. He was issued with a warning as a result after taking into account the circumstances.
Race 18	Garrard's Horse & Hound Stakes - C2/3 - 520	CAWBOURNE BULLET ran inwards after the jump checking VICTORY CHEERS, CROSSFIRE MAX and SABRE DANCE. Into the bend OPAWA PADLESS tightened and checked TIJAN before CAWBOURNE BULLET checked out off OPAWA PADLESS forcing SABRE DANCE and VICTORY CHEERS wide. Into the back straight TIJAN, VICTORY CHEERS and CAWBOURNE BULLET came together when racing at the rear.
Race 19	Speight's Six Pack - C3/4 - 520	WINSOME FLYER tightened SLICK RICK and SMASH McCOY soon after the start. Into the first bend WINSOME FLYER moved towards the rail checking CYBER BLUE who in turn was hit by an improving SMASH McCOY.
Race 20	New Zealand Racing Series Sprint Final - NZRSf - 295	OHOKA KERRY and ICE BALL came together after the start.
