Race 1	Carol's TABs Sprint - C2 - 318	DURHAM ASSASSIN was last to jump but took advantage of trouble wider out to gain a rails run and make ground for third even after being checked by CENTRAL CYRUS in the running. Soon after the jump ART DECO ran inwards and CENTRAL CYRUS came outwards with THRILLING FORCE and BARALLEN being sandwiched in between them losing ground. ART DECO was again dragged down into the bend and dropped out to finish last with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury.
Race 2	Magness Benrow Sprint - C0 - 318	DAZZEL ME, LUCKY STREAK and VONRYANS XPRESS all came together soon after the jump. Into the bend PEPPER LAW ran inwards contacting VONRYANS EXPRESS for a stride and fell with GINGER BISCUIT having to leap her as a result and losing ground. PEPPER LAW completed the race with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury.
Race 3	Meadowset Graphics Sprint - C1 - 318	WINSOME FREDDY was last away but railed well to get up for second. THRILLING SHADZ and INDIA BLUE were both badly checked as MATILDA'S BEST crossed to the lead at the end of the back straight with the former dogs dropping to the rear.
Race 4	Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C5 - 318	CAPTAIN CARLOS ran inwards towards the end of the back straight contacting PRINCESS SNOWY who in turn checked TO THE CREST with both runners losing ground. Shortly after YOUNG VALIANT, PRINCESS SNOWY and ROCKY BEND GIRL were tightened and dropped to the rear as PRIVATE PEDRO improved around the dogs and angled to the rail.
Race 5	$25,000 Pick6 Sprint - C3 - 318	FANCY SPIDER, ALL ABOUT DOSH and THRILLING CAM all came together in the run down the back straight when racing at the rear.
Race 6	Lectro Hair & Beauty Sprint - C1 - 318	KARAMU THUNDER was last to jump running on well for third. IN TENT ran outwards into the bend and checked CREATIVE DREAM for a stride.
Race 7	Chilli's Restaurant & Bar Sprint - C3/4 - 318	TRUE INTENTIONS was a shade slow from the inside but improved quickly into the bend and won well. Into that bend SURFIN' MINT was badly tightened and went back through the field with ZAMBORA MAN being held up as a result. Kennel representative Ingrid Archer was questioned about the improved performance of the winner TRUE INTENTIONS. She stated that the dog had been racing in the Railway Heats before being downgraded at its last start and on that occasion was unlucky as mentioned in the Stewards Report and was confidently expected to run well today.
Race 8	The Brownzy Sports Bar Stakes - C4/5 - 527	PAYNEFUL TRUTH was slow to jump.
Race 9	McGhie Plumbing Stakes - C1 - 527	HOTWAX was last to jump but made ground well for second. Favourite PRESSURE POINT was badly tightened when racing in tight quarters into the first bend and was spat out to the rear. He ran on well for fourth.
Race 10	The Alamo Bar & TAB Sprint - C1 - 318	All clear.
