Race 1	Te Awamutu Self Storage Stakes - C1/2 - 457	DOLLY BREEN was wide from the jump and remained back and wide throughout.
Race 2	0800 4Down Cow Ltd Stakes - C1 - 457	SAMBO WARRIOR came up with the lids settling last while VINTAGE RED and MATILDA'S BEST came together soon after the jump. VINTAGE RED was tightened into the bend and checked MATILDA'S BEST who lost ground. VINTAGE RED made ground late for fifth.
Race 3	YGOT Bonus Scheme Sprint - C2 - 375	DURHAM ASSASSIN was last to jump. Into the bend an improving DURHAM ASSASSIN was tightened and then pushed wide by BIGTIME MOE with MACAU also being forced to cover extra ground on that bend.
Race 4	Protector Safety Stakes - C1 - 457	THRILLING BARON, PIN UP PUPPY and WINSOME FREDDY were all slow to jump. After some fifty metres HOT FONZ was checked and ran wide and appeared to falter dropping out to a long last. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury with this dog's future races being closely monitored. Into the bend ARCTIC DREAM was tightened and dragged down losing ground and settling towards the rear. Shortly after GRADUATED CLASS checked outwards off runners and took the line of FREE COPY who was forced wider. A post race veterinary check of ARCTIC DREAM revealed no injury.
Race 5	Interislander Dash - C3 - 375	HELD FOR RANSOM checked off FANCY SPIDER into the bend and lost momentum and some ground. WILD FLYNN received a slight check soon after as LOCHINVAR PRINCE angled to the inside from its outside draw but didn't lose ground.
Race 6	Leamington Distance - C2d - 650	SHEA SHERIE and BEILPAJAH PRINCE came together for a stride soon after the jump.
Race 7	Raceway Sprint - C4 - 375	PAYNEFUL TRUTH was last to jump. Into the bend GOLD FOR THYS was badly tightened and checked dropping to the rear.
Race 8	TAB Pump & Automotive Stakes - C4/5 - 457	STICKY BOY was badly checked between runners soon after the jump and settled last. He ran on well late to be in behind the placegetters.
Race 9	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Sprint - C5 - 375	ELITE LUKE was checked into the bend and lost ground with BRIGHT CONQUEST receiving some backwash in behind and dropping to the rear.
Race 10	Harness Racing Here Saturday Night Stakes - C3 - 457	FANCY EEL and ATOMIC CLAIM dropped to the rear soon after the jump. Into the bend the hot favourite PAUPER faltered when a clear leader and dropped right away. A post race veterinary check revealed a broken hock with the dog being euthanased on humane grounds.
