| Race 2 | Matangi Maiden - C0 - 457 | THRILLING BUDDY, ENFORCER SHIRAZ and favourite PRINCESS SHILOH were all slow away in a straggly start. Into the bend KARN was dragged down from behind by PRINCESS SHILOH with KARN losing ground. A post race veterinary check of KARN revealed no injury. |
| Race 3 | South Waikato Kids Kart Cup Here On Sunday - C1 - 457 | ZERO RANGER missed the jump and settled last making ground late to be a closing sixth. |
| Race 4 | 0800 4Down Cow Stakes - C3/4 - 457 | LOCHINVAR PRINCE ran inwards for a stride at the jump and contacted BEILPAJAH PRINCE. STICKY BOY ran outwards slightly into the bend in order to receive racing room and pushed AWESOME VOYAGE over extra ground. |
| Race 5 | Interislander Dash - C4 - 375 | LADY CHLOE received a severe check into the bend as she was attempting to cross ATOMIC CLAIM and dropped away to finish a long last with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. ATOMIC CLAIM also lost ground in this incident. |
| Race 6 | YGOT Bonus Scheme Stakes - C3 - 457 | REZENDE was held up for a stride behind BLACK COUGAR on the home turn. |
| Race 7 | Protector Safety Stakes - C1 - 457 | SAMBO WARRIOR was sandwiched between HOT FONZ and COOL ANNA as the field jumped and dropped to the rear. FREE COPY was tightened into the bend and then checked off FANCY KATE soon after dropping to the rear. |

| Race 9 | Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Sprint - C5 - 375 | POWERFUL ENEMY crossed the front of the field into the bend with BLACK MOON, DISCO JORDY and SEASWIFT all being tightened as a consequence. SEELEY BOOTH then checked outwards off SEASWIFT and was dragged down losing ground and pushing JAG'S FLYER very wide. A post race veterinary check of SEELEY BOOTH revealed that the dog was suffering from post race thumps with a seven day stand down recommended. |
| Race 10 | Tokoroa GRC Racing Here On Sunday - C2 - 457 | This race was delayed by three minutes at the request of Raceday Control. SURFING AL ran inwards at the jump checking LADY MARIANNE and NO HELP INDEED. Into the bend SURFING AL and YAMBLA JACK came together with THRILLING GRIZZ wider out receiving a nasty check and losing ground. |
