Race 1	The Brownzy Sports Bar Sprint - C3 - 318	WINSOME SKY went up with the lids and lost ground. As a result of a serious motorway crash the photo-finish operator was not present for this race and Assistant Stipe Mr K Coppins deputised as assistant judge. The finish for third was very close and a deat-heat was declared without the aid of a photo-finish after consultation between the judge and Stipendiary Steward in Charge. Due to a server breakdown in the TAB van no head on view was available for this race.
Race 2	Protector Safety Sprint - C0 - 318	PEPPER LAW ran inwards soon after the jump and dictated the line of MOANY'S RULER with these dogs settling well back. PEPPER LAW made good ground for third. Into the bend UTAR JET checked outwards and came together with BLUE STRATA with both runners losing ground.
Race 3	RHB Accounting Sprint - C1 - 318	WINSOME FREDDY was tightened soon after the jump and settled last running on well for third. Into the bend KARAMU THUNDER, TODD and THRILLING HONEY all came together at the back of the field. On the home turn TODD checked off the back of UTAR BIG RIG and lost a length.
Race 4	$7,500 First4 Sprint - C4 - 318	ONIE'S LAD ran inwards at the jump contacting SURFIN' MINT for a stride. At the end of the back straight WINSOME DELTA dragged PRIVATE PEDRO down for a stride but both runners held their placings.
Race 5	$15,000 Pick6 Sprint - C5 - 318	TO THE CREST and LADY HEATHER came together for a stride at the end of the back straight.
Race 6	Thornton Auctions Auckland Derby - R/Af - 527	THRILLING TALE was badly tightened into the first bend as HARAJUKU BOY and BROTHER RABBIT crossed towards the rail. These three runners all checked to the outside as a result and lost ground as did MADDER THAN who was in behind them and couldn't avoid the incident.
Race 7	Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C3 - 318	PAYNEFUL TRUTH and WILD FLYNN came together twice on the home turn when well back. Following the event DEVILS MARBELS was observed to be limping with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury.
Race 8	Deli's Sports Bar Stakes - C1 - 527	FANCY KATE was squeezed up along the inside at the first bend and ran outwards checking FREE COPY and STRIKE ONCE who ran out of room and fell. TAWHIRI was also inconvenienced in this incident. STRIKE ONCE completed the course with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. Following the race TAWHIRI was subject to a post race veterinary check that revealed a skin laceration to his leg with a seven day stand down recommended.
Race 9	Terry Ryan Timber Stakes - C3/4 - 527	DARK FANCY was tightened into the first bend. Shortly after KARATA ROAD was checked as MATANUSKA shouldered through a gap on her inside. Shortly after this KARATA ROAD and an improving WILL SHE ECHO came together with KARATA ROAD losing ground.
Race 10	Chill's Restaurant & Bar Sprint - C1 - 318	WILLEE WINDSOR was last to jump and remained well back.
