Health and Safety comment:
Judicial report: Trainer J FAHEY was fined $35.00 after admitting a breach of Rule 71.4 after failing to catch SKY VANE at the conclusion of Race 13.
Owner/trainer MG ROBERTS was fined $50.00 after admitting a breach of Rule 68.2 when kennelling WILD ST. TEDDY 28 minutes after the advertised kennel time.
Trainer LJ WARETINI reported that OHOKA TASH had sustained a right hock sprain when successfully completing a Satisfactory Trial at Addington Raceway on Tuesday 23 February. OHOKA TASH was examined by DR D MATHESON the following day at his clinic and he recommended a stand down of 28 days up to and including 22 March 2010.
Handler LH ANDERTON was warned for a breach of the Dress Policy when he omitted to wear a tie when catching at he conclusion of Race 14.

CAWBOURNE LORNA was checked when tightened soon after the start, with LESTER being tightened and losing ground into the bend. Around the bend and into the home straight CAWBOURNE LORNA and LIAM TITLE jostled for some distance losing ground and forcing LESTER to change ground. LIAM TITLE was vetted and found to have low grade left groin pain with a 5 day stand down recommended. |

In the home straight the leader KENTUCKY (IA FENSOM) was observed to ease to such an extent to finish last. A veterinary check revealed the dog to have sustained a severe cramp. The club veterinarian advised that the cramp would have had an effect on the and recommended a stand down of 7 days. TOMMY TEALEAF was subject of a veterinary check and was found with left triceps muscle pain and a 14 day stand down recommended. |
