Scales: correct at test weights
Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: The scales when checked by the stewards pre racing were correct at all test weights.
After about 3rd of first kenneling there was a discrepency of 1oo grams showing , the scales were rechecked with the weights and was weighing correctly.
The club have been notified and the scales will be recalibrated before the next meeting on the 3.03.2010

Race 1	Quality Presentations Maiden Sprint - C0 - 375	At the start PURE DESIRE came across the face of OKAY'S BENNY BOY, MAN OH MAN, and SCAMPER CLAIR , these three dogs all sufferd slight checks at that point racing in to the first turn MAN OH MAN checked back off the heels of TINY TITCH and ran out on to KARN who was carted wide across the top bend. SCAMPER CLAIR fell over at the lure and was sent for a vet check and was found to have suffered a pectoral muscle injury with a 10 day stand down reccomended
Race 2	Interislander Sprint - C1 - 375	BIGTIME ACHIEVER (fav) was awkwardly away from the boxes and then she was checked back as they raced in to the first turn as THRILLING LILLI ran up on the back of JANIE PHOENIX and BIGTIME ACHIEVER was hampered further in this incident and was not able to get back in to contention from there on in.
Race 3	Geon Wellington Sprint - C1 - 375	RUSTY ENFORCER ran out wide as they raced in to the first turn in trying to avoid heels and took THRILLING TIFF wide at that point, RUSTY ENFORCER recovered well to finish in 2nd placing at the line. STUMPY RELTUB was a late scratching at kenneling when found to be suffering from enteritis with a 7 day stand down reccomended
Race 4	Burlace & Pain Panelbeaters Middle Distance - C1 - 457	BLACK SAVOY was awkwardly away from the boxes and lost 5 or so lengths ,but made up ground throughout to finish in midfield at the line SECRET TRACEY raced wide in to the first turn and could not get in to contention from there on in
Race 5	Vision Manawatu Sprint - C2 - 375	THRILLING COLA a favoured runner got on the back of THRILLING DOLL as she changed ground to avoid heels as they raced in to the first turn , this caused THRILLING COLA to cover a lot of extra ground racing across the top bend and was never able to get in to contention from there on in
Race 6	Cookes Ropes Middle Distance - C1 - 457	CAWBOURNE WILCO was a late scratching at kenneling due to an infected toe on the left hind There was a 3 minute delay to this race from raceday control. ERIC PHOENIX and MISS ARKANSAS came together and jostled for several strides soon after leaving the boxes, THRILLING SIREN came across on to MISS ARKANSAS a few strides on and they came together briefly
Race 7	Charlie Boyce, Vet Foxton Sprint - C4 - 375	As the field got away from the start THRILLING GRIT raced across the face of MIGHTY BIG SAM, SUZY MAC, and CAWBOURNE KING (fav) and this caused MIGHTY BIG SAM to lose his footing momenterily and went back throug the field to the rear MIGHTY BIG SAM made up good ground around the field to finish in 3rd placing at the line
Race 8	Freedom Print & Design House Sprint - C5 - 375	SUPER SAGE got away awkwardly from the boxes . DARK SAGE came across fast from the 8 box on to GOLD FOR THYS and this dog was tightened for a few strides Soon after leaving the boxes GUNNADOO KNIGHT came across and collided with UPAHUT ZORRO and ROUGH ENFORCER putting them off balance for a few strides. UPAHUT ZORRO then raced wide across the top and in to the home straight ,covering a lot of extra ground in doing so
Race 9	Outback Trading Company Ltd Middle Distance - C4/5 - 457	As the field raced in to the first turn GOSS SAGE and CAWBOURNE FORCE came together for a stride ,caused by PINK RELTUB racing across towards the rail. On the point of the top bend PINK RELTUB raced out wide and in to the home straight and this cost her any chance of a closer finish.
Race 10	Grant Irvine Pharmacy Middle Distance - C2/3 - 457	WANDY KYLE and RAPPER NEWY came together for a stride as they left the boxes BILLY MA'S TIP got away from the boxes on terms and was then observed to be uncomfortable in his action as they raced in to the first turn and went further back through the field and finished some distance behind the field and was sent for a vet check where he was found to have suffered a gracilis muscle injury. The trainer Mr S Maher advised the Veterinary surgeon and the stewards that the dog would not be peservered with any further and has been retired and will be deregistered, so no stand down was required
