| Race 1 | Welcome to Cambridge Raceway Dash - C2 - 375 | BARALLEN and NEW MONIA were both tightened into the bend with NEW MONIA losing ground. THRILLING FORCE was held up in behind these runners and lost momentum. NEW MONIA ran outwards as a result and got on the back of THRILLING DOLL who lost her chance finishing last. Post race veterinary checks of THRILLING DOLL and NEW MONIA revealed no injuries. |
| Race 2 | Matangi Maiden - C0 - 375 | BLUE STRATA and CENTRAL SKIP were both slow to jump. Into the bend PEPPER LAW was tightened and came back on SURFER FOOT who fell and BLUE STRATA who was checked out of the race. On the home turn UTAR JET checked outwards off the back of BERN'S BUNNY and lost many lengths. UTAR JET made ground late for fifth. A post race veterinary check of SURFER FOOT revealed no injury. |
| Race 3 | Tauwhare Dash - C1 - 375 | DURHAM ASSASSIN and WINSOME FREDDY came together into the bend. On the home turn MISTY VELVET and WINSOME FREDDY came together and lost ground. One of the favourites DURHAM ASSASSIN overcame that early check to race around them into the lead half way down the straight weakening in the final stages to run a close third. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. The racing manners of DURHAM ASSASSIN will be closely monitored in his next few starts. |
| Race 4 | YGOT Bonus Scheme Sprint - C4 - 375 | DARK FANCY was tightened in the early stages settling well back. On the first turn BOTANY ADAM ran out slightly and bumped I'M A FOOL who ran outwards and lost many lengths. Favourite LIGHTS AND MUSIC led for the majority of the trip but weakened in the last 50 metres to run third. |
| Race 5 | Tamahere Dash - C1 - 375 | HE'S A LION ran inwards at the jump with ALL ABOUT MILLY and HOT LIKE ME being relegated to the rear as a result. |
| Race 6 | 0800 4Down Cow Stakes - C1 - 457 | Favourite NO HELP INDEED was last to jump but put in a sterling performance to get up and win. FREE COPY was shunted outwards by JELLYSTONE PARK at the end of the back straight and lost ground. |
| Race 7 | Interislander Dash - C3 - 375 | YAMBLA JACK was tightened at the end of the back straight and then ran wide losing ground. On the home bend PADDY BOND checked outwards off COOL IDOL and lost a couple of lengths. |
| Race 8 | Protector Safety Stakes - C1 - 457 | CLASSY FORT ran outwards soon after the jump hampering ZERO RANGER and THRILLING BRYN for a few strides with ZERO RANGER dropping to the rear. CLASSY FORT continued to get to the outside and pushed VINTAGE RED wider around the first corner. |
| Race 9 | Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Sprint - C5 - 375 | DARK CAVALIER was last away but looped the field on the home turn. It and BLACK MOON came together on the home turn but DARK CAVALIER proved too strong. SEELEY BOOTH attempted to jump the lure at the pull up area and hurt itself with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. NATIONAL DEBT appeared lame on pulling up with a post race veterinary check revealing a skin wound to left forearm with a seven day stand down recommended. |
