Judicial report: Trainer RS HAMILTON was warned for a breach of Rule 68 when late to kennel MALROY during split kennelling for Race 14.
Trainer JT McIINERNEY was charged with a breach of Rule 64.2 relating to the withdrawal of HEAVEN'S BEST, a starter in Race 13. He pleaded not guilty to the charge, and after hearing evidence from MRS B EADE, Club Secretary, the charge was found proven. McINERNEY was fined $100.00 with no stand down period imposed.

Race 1	ADDED ENERGY WELCOME - C0 - 390	CREPE MYRTLE was slow to jump. Into the bend SHEZA COOL ONE drove down towards the rail tightening CHOOK CHOOK and TIM BAXTER who came back on BEAT THE FOURCHE and THRILLING ROBYN.
Race 2	$26 Five Wire Muzzle Stakes - C1 - 457	KNOW TRUTH stumbled soon after the jump to settle well back. Into the bend KNOW TRUTH moved outwards tightening IRISH BOMBER and ROYAL RODNEY who came back on HANDSOME HAND.
Race 3	BRENDON BURKE @ SOUTHERNWIDE - C0 - 390	THRILLING AZZ collided with MISTY SHADOW and FERAL DUCHESS soon after the jump. Into the bend THRILLING PEACH checked off the heels of JONES BAXTER.
Race 4	Molly O'Gradys - C1 - 457	FAST TEDDY ran out into the bend colliding with THAT'S BIZAAR. Soon after an improving OFF THE RAILS struck the rear of GREAT KAY'S both dogs losing ground. Into the home straight COOL TART climbed onto the back of THAT'S BIZAAR before checking outwards and losing ground.
Race 5	$25 Yard Muzzle Stakes - C0 - 457	Both BOMBAY TRAM and NATHAN OPAWA were slow to jump. Into the bend MEDIVAC checked off the heels of MUSCOVITE and coming back on BOO HOO BLAIR. Soon after THRILLING EAGLE ran in sharply checking NATHAN OPAWA.
Race 6	Kelvin Hotel - C1 - 390	HISLOP'S HAND was tightened by MEANDER soon after the jump before checking outwards and colliding with BOTANY HORNET and KNOW SOON who lost ground. Into the bend CLEEVE HILL and MEANDER came together with MEANDER losing ground.
Race 7	BOUNCE B POWDER - C4/5 - 390	GENISTA DREAMA was slow to jump. Into the bend SUPERFINE struck the heels of ANOTHER MANGLES as that dog drove towards the rail. Soon after an improving GENISTA DREAMA collided with ANOTHER MANGLES.
Race 8	ASCOT PARK HOTEL - C2 - 390	Into the home straight UNDER COVER ran out forcing OLD MATE DAVE and HOMEBUSH KALAMA wide on the track. Soon after the winning post VAMPIRES SHADOW was tightened and fell before regaining his feet and running to the lure. He was subject to a veterinary check which revealed minor grazing to the right hind leg with no stand down recommended.
Race 9	SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C3 - 457	PURA LADY ran into the rear of TATTY BOGLE around the bend both losing ground.
Race 10	justracing.com.au - C3 - 390	WINSOME FLYER was tightened soon after the jump.
Race 11	STAMINA PLUS POWDER - C4 - 390	Approximately 50 metres short of the winning post the lure stopped with the lead dog SMASH MCCOY catching it short of the winning post. The race was declared a "No Race" in accordance with Rule 76.1. The cause of the failure could not be clearly established. Marks on the bottom of the rail indicated that the lure may have picked up an object when in motion, but if that was the case the top wheels of the carriage would have been free of the rail and the lure should have fallen from the rail. It hasn't done so on this occasion. The lure driver reported that the power returned to the lure prior to finish line with a loud grating noise being heard. The lure again failed into the back straight when tested shortly after the abandoned race. As a result all four wheels on the lure were replaced prior to the next race.
Race 12	NZ Racing Series Final - NZRSf - 457	Into the turn KNOW HELP drifted backwards and checked the running of OPAWA FLYER with both dogs finishing at the rear of the field.
Race 13	Osborn Engineering Bluff - C1 - 390	Both HO HO PAREORA and TUKURUA COLT were checked when tightened by ASTRO DAVE as he drove down towards the rail.
Race 14	S R Double D Syndicate - C1 - 457	MALROY ran out after the jump taking TEE CEE wide and into the path of CAWBOURNE WOODY who was checked. Into the bend LANA CEE checked outwards colliding with HOMEBUSH OSO.
Race 15	www.southlandgreyhounds.co.nz - C4/5 - 457	KNOW SPIRIT was outwards in the run to the bend. Into the bend DEAL FOR YOU tightened SENSATIVE HARRY who came back on SUDDEN SAM and HEAR NO EVIL.
