Race 1	Quality Presentations Ltd Maiden Sprint - C0 - 375	TRAVEL THYME moved in soon after the start and was galloped on by SCAMPER CLAIR. They then jostled together several strides later and dropped back to the rear and stayed back to finish in the last two places.
Race 2	Bill Boyd & Associates Sprint - C1 - 375	The favourite STAR TO EXCEL was a little slow to begin and was then awkwardly placed inside TODD on the first corner and lost ground. He was then checked on the bend when racing inside BLACK SAVOY and both dogs lost ground and they stayed back to finish in the last two places.
Race 3	Total Irrigation Central Ltd Sprint - C1 - 375	The favourite CAWBOURNE MO and also THRILLING DEE were checked back to the rear when THRILLING WEB jumped in at the start. CAWBOURNE MO checked again on the first corner when racing onto the heels of THRILLING WEB and she never recovered and finished in 2nd last place. THRILLING DEE was checked again on the bend and then ran wide into the straight and she finished in last place.
Race 4	Wenham Grain & Seed Middle Distance - C1 - 457	This race was started two minutes late at the request of the T.A.B. THRILLING FELIX was very slow to begin losing several lengths and he stayed back and finished in 2nd last place. The eventual winner THRILLING COLA moved away from the rail on the first corner and checked ERIC PHOENIX who lost ground but he recovered to finish in 3rd place.
Race 5	Manawatu Security Fencing Ltd Sprint - C2 - 375	The race was started two minutes late at the request of the T.A.B. HOMEBUSH WIGGLE checked off the heels of YA GUNNA on the first corner and moved out forccing CRYSTAL KATIE wide over extra ground and CRYSTAL KATIE finished in last place. HOMEBUSH WIGGLE bumped with OHAU WILLEE on the bend and lost further ground and she finished in 2nd last place.
Race 6	Outback Trading Company Ltd Middle Distance - C1 - 457	HITMAN FRED and BIGTIME GUY collided and checked in the back straight when racing near the rear and they lost four lengths and finished at the rear.
Race 7	Peter Dale Sprint Final - C3f - 375	The favourite WINNER SCHNITZEL drew box 8 and was forced to race very wide over extra ground on the bend and although he switched down to the rail on the home turn he was too far back by that stage and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 8	Allan Johnson Sprint - C4 - 375	CRYSTAL VIRUS jumped in from the start and made contact with LEATHER JACKET and settled near the rear. MR SIMPLY was slow to begin and lost three lengths. On the first corner WHATA BOWLA ran out and caused severe checks to itself and also to MR SIMPLY and SWIP TASTIC and they lost several lengths and all chance and finished in the last three places. SUZY MAC was also slightly checked in the incident but recovered to finish in 4th place.
Race 9	Kerb & Concrete Ltd Sprint - C5 - 375	DA COOLA was tightened between BRASS KNUCKLES and ROUGH ENFORCER on the first corner and he lost several lengths and tailed the field from there to the finish.
Race 10	Thrilling Kennels Middle Distance - C4/5 - 457	STARFIRE BOY was one of the last to begin and was still in the rear group on the first corner but he finished the race of well for 3rd placing.
