| Race 1 | Welcome To Cambridge Raceway Sprint - C0 - 375 | SAMURAI was a shade slow from the inside and ten ran very wide on the bend losing ground. GISELLE QUEEN also drifted off the fence on the turn when in a prominent position and lost ground. |
| Race 2 | Tamahere Dash - C1 - 375 | PRIDE OF SOUTH was last to jump remaining well back throughout. SAMBO WARRIOR received a slight check into the bend and then ran wide on the home turn losing ground and finishing towards the rear. |
| Race 3 | Te Awamutu Self Storage Stakes - C1 - 457 | RUN FOR US was last to jump making ground late for fifth. HOT FONZ received a check as STRIKE ONCE ran inwards in the back straight with HOT FONZ losing ground and contacting MCCABE along the rails. In the home straight JET MINT ran outwards sharply when looking for racing room and collided with STRIKE ONCE who lost some momentum. |
| Race 4 | Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Sprint - C4 - 375 | FANCY SPIDER was tightened and checked along the inside into the bend losing ground. He made ground well for fourth. |
| Race 5 | YGOT Bonus Scheme Stakes - C1 - 457 | ZERO RANGER was very slow to jump. ROTOVEGAS GIRL ran inwards from her outside draw with HOTROD HUBBLE and CLASSY FORT being checked as a result. On the home turn HOTROD HUBBLE ran inwards and came together with ROTOVEGAS GIRL with HOTROD HUBBLE dropping out to finish last with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. |
| Race 6 | 0800 4Down Cow Sprint - C2 - 375 | The boxes failed to open at first attempt due to a circuit breaker problem. The dogs were all checked by the veterinary surgeon and were passed fit to race. The race was then hand started with THRILLING BLAST being slow away. CAWBOURNE SNOWY and SHOWTIME ADDIS were both tightened into the bend and lost ground. |
| Race 7 | Tauwhare Dash - C1 - 375 | The boxes were checked before this race and opened automatically. DURHAM ASSASSIN was sandwiched between runners soon after the jump and lost ground. On the inside CENTRAL CYRUS made contact with HOTWAX in the run to the bend with HOTWAX losing ground. WINSOME KELLY was tightened between runners on the home turn losing momentum while wider out THRILLING CATCH appeared to falter and dropped out to finish a long last. A post race veterinary check revealed a strained right triceps muscle with a ten day stand down recommended. |
| Race 8 | Raceway Sprint - C5 - 375 | BUT WHY NOT was the slowest to jump. On the bend BUT WHY NOT, THRILLING WAG and ONIE'S LAD came together losing ground. Soon after DISCO JORDY ran outwards contacting SURFIN' MINT who lost momentum. |
| Race 9 | Protector Safety Sprint - C3 - 375 | BOLSTAD ran outwards at the jump with WILD FLYNN, BENGINEER and PADDY BOND all losing ground as a result. BENGINEER did well to run into third. |
| Race 10 | TAB Pump & Automotive Stakes - C4/5 - 457 | PRIVATE PEDRO and MR SOUTHS came together soon after the jump. Into the bend SHE'S TOO COOL was tightened and stumbled for a stride pushing MR SOUTHS and ITCHICOO PARK wider around that bend. |
