| Race 1 | Ray Huntley Cup Final - C0f - 375 | PURE DESIRE led on the bend but ran a little wide into the straight and faded to finish in 4th place. BIGTIME ACHIEVER suffered a cut pad which required suturing and a 10 day stand down. |
| Race 2 | Quality Presentations Maiden Middle Distance - C0 - 457 | One of the favourites OKAY'S BENNY BOY was very slow to begin but was then making up ground on the bend when he raced onto the heels of SURFING AL and they both lost ground and finished in the rear group. WAHINE KURE ran out from the start and jostled with SURFING AL and they both lost ground. Soon after, ANSWERS BACK turned its head and ran out towards WAHINE KURE and as a result ANSWERS BACK was examined by the Vet and a 14 day stand down was recommended due to a tensor fascia lata muscle injury. However, ANSWERS BACK was stood down for 28 days under Rule 80.1 b and is required to trial under Rule 81.1 |
| Race 3 | Cookes Ropes Middle Distance - C1 - 457 | The favourite FAST TEDDY was only away from the boxes fairly and was then checked back to last on the first corner and stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. GEOFF PHOENIX was bumped from the inside by THRILLING GRIZZ on the bend losing three lengths but he recovered to finish in 3rd place. |
| Race 4 | www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz Sprint - C2 - 375 | The favourite ROBUST BOY was away well enough to be handy but was checked losing three lengths on the first corner and then recovered to finish in 2nd place but without looking likely to catch the winner LAWS HILL. |
| Race 5 | GEON Wellington Sprint - C4 - 375 | CAWBOURNE DORE scrambled in the first couple of strides from the boxes and settled at the rear. He then ran wide on the bend and finished in last place. |
| Race 6 | Oroua Downs Tannery Sprint - C4 - 375 | GUNNADOO KNIGHT moved in racing to the first corner and checked CAWBOURNE BESS who went back to last and stayed there to the finish. Soon after SWIP TASTIC moved in and checked AWESOME VOYAGE who also went back to near the rear and he also stayed back and finished in 2nd last place. GUNNADOO KNIGHT and SWIP TASTIC collided soon after losing ground and they finished in 5th and 6th places. SWIP TASTIC suffered a pectoral muscle injury and was stood down for 7 days. |
| Race 7 | Vision Manawatu Sprint - C3 - 375 | One of the better supported runners COOL'S THE TUNE was one of the slowest to begin and he then checked off the back of FIVE KAY KAT on the first corner and went back to last and he stayed there to the finish. |

| Race 9 | Radio Trackside 828AM Manawatu Six-Pack Sprint - C5 - 375 | BIGTIME SURVIVOR was slow to begin and he stayed back throughout to finish in last place. |
| Race 10 | Here Again Wednesday Afternoon Middle Distance - C4/5 - 457 | This race was started two minutes late at the request of the T.A.B. WINSOME CRUISER was handy on the first corner but eased and dropped back quickly to last but made up some ground to finish in 6th place. He was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury and was stood down for 28 days for failing to pursue the lure throughout. He is also to complete a satisfactory trial under Rule 81.1. BIGTIME RELOADER moved out on the bend and forced ALFA DANCER into the line of the favourite BIGTIME GEM who was severely checked and almost fell losing several lengths and she finished in last place. |
