Judicial report: Trainer J.T.McInerney was fined $ 150-00 under Rule 88.1 o ( Negligent ) after DASH was a late scratching from race 10. DASH had been scratched and stood down for 7 days to and including 11.02.10 at the Wanganui meeting on 05.02.10 but the kennel representatives had failed to scratch by the required time for this meeting.

Race 1	Allied Work Force 0800 Labour - C0 - 305	COOL THIEF was slow to begin and settled in last place. PING PONG MAGOO galloped on the back of TUI CAN DO on the first corner and TUI CAN DO lost ground and moved out and COOL THIEF checked off his heels and they both lost ground and finished in the last two places. BIGTIME ACHIEVER was in 2nd place on the bend but was checked when EVE HILL moved out. BIGTIME ACHIEVER then checked over the heels of the eventual winner HOMEBUSH DAPHNE on the bend and again in the home straight and this may have cost her the chance of winning the race.
Race 2	Mickey's Super Liquor - C1q - 520 Heat 1	OUR NICKI GALLOP and MUSTARD KEEN jostled together for several strides in the run to thefirst corner and they settled at the rear. HOMEBUSH NICK eased out off the heels of BOLTS BOLTED in the back straight and caused a check to FLYBY RADAR who lost several lengths. HOMEBUSH NICK then moved back in and MUSTARD KEEN had to ease off his heels and she lost ground.
Race 3	Guthrie Bowron Wanganui - C0 - 305	HOMEBUSH KARLY was slow to begin and she then ran wide over extra ground on the bend but was making up ground in the home straight and finished in 6th place. HEY GHANDI and PURE DESIRE collided soon after jumping from the boxes and they lost a little ground.
Race 4	Wanganui Farm Supplies - C1q - 520 Heat 2	MINI ZILLA was held up momentarily behind ERIC PHOENIX entering the final bend but once in the clear, she went on to win with ease.
Race 5	GEON Wellington - C0 - 305	FLYBY KAHN was slow to begin and he stayed back to finish near the rear. SUCH A MYSTERY ran very wide over extra ground and finished in last place.
Race 6	Keenan Concrete 6 Pack - C1q - 520 Heat 3	MISTER WHISKER ran in from the start and jostled with FLOYDY BOY and GEOFF PHOENIX for several strides and they settled well back. THRILLING PETRA led around the first bend but then drifted back through the field and she finished in 2nd last place. THRILLING PETRA was examined by the Vet and stood down for 5 days with a bruised thigh muscle.
Race 7	Morrie Gibbons Signs - C1 - 305	One of the favourites MAGIC ELLA went up with the box lids and missed the start by several lengths losing all chance and she finished in last place. STAR SEEKER ran in from the start and checked MISS TORI who lost ground. TODD ran in approaching the first corner and jostled with CAWBOURNE MO for several strides and both dogs lost ground but ran on quite well to finish in 4th and 5th places.
Race 8	Gary Ross Decorator - C1q - 520 Heat 4	All clear.
Race 9	Broad Roofing Services - C1 - 305	HOMEBUSH LOYAL was checked and lost four lengths on the first corner when THRILLING BLADE moved in towards the rail. HOMEBUSH LOYAL never recovered and finished in last place.
Race 10	www.wanganuicarcentre.com - C1 - 305	JANIE PHOENIX and STEAL IT DAN collided soon after the start and JANIE PHOENIX lost ground ground and settled at the rear but she made up ground quite well for 4th place. The well supported SALLY BAXTER drew box 8 and she raced wide over extra ground and finished in last place.
