Race 1	Advance Pet Nutrition Sprint - C0 - 295	CURRAHEE and CAWBOURNE BEAR came together into the bend. Soon after CURRAHEE clipped the heels of MINI THE MOOCH losing ground.
Race 2	Challenge Opawa All Up Sprint - C1 - 295	Into the bend LIFE WITH DEXTER checked out off the heels of COLERIDGE KID colliding with CALM WAVES and LEO'S BOY who were checked. Into the home straight LIFE WITH DEXTER gain checked out off COLERIDGE KID colliding with LEO'S BOY both sustaining checks.
Race 3	www.containersdirect.co.nz Stakes - C0 - 520	BOMBAY TRAM was slow to jump. ST.VALARY ran out after the jump checking FUNNY LAD. Around the first bend OPAWA BORN FREE ran outwards taking ST. VALARY wide and allowing dogs to rail under them into the back straight. The trainers of SLIGHTLY AMAZING were spoken to regarding the dog's performance. They reported the dog had been thoroughly examined prior to this meeting and they were disappointed in her race performance. They advised that she would be thoroughly re examined by the club veterinarian prior to racing again. Johnathon McINERNEY, the trainers representative, was questioned regarding the performance of COOL TRACEY. He reported she had been found with a slight toe injury which should not have affected her performance. She would in all likelyhood be turned out to spell. The parties of both dogs were advised that future race performances would be monitored by Stewards.
Race 4	Barron's Supplies Dash - C1 - 295	KILKENNY ran in after the jump checking THAT'S BIZAAR. MUSTARD FUDGE who was slow to jump from the inside box improved along the rail into the bend moving out and tightening TOKEN RAGE who came back on THAT'S BIZAAR. MUSTARD FUDGE continued his outward movement colliding with SHAZZ'S SAINT who was forced out into the path of KILKENNY and BOTANY HENRY who both sustained severe checks. BOTANY HENRY was subject to a veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss.
Race 5	Tuesday Place Pick Dash - C1 - 295	GIMME A THRILL was very slow to jump. Into the bend CAWBOURNE WOODY checked off the heels of MISS WICKLOW. Approaching the home straight FLASH TRAV ran out and marred SING CILLA BLACK with both dogs losing all chance. Stewards deemed FLASH TRAV (JT McInerney) to be in breach of Rule 80.1.a and as a result was stood down for a period of 28 days and ordered to undertake a Satisfactory Trial.
Race 6	I Pave Concrete Stakes - C1 - 520	IRISH BOMBER was slow to jump. ILINCOLN ZEPHYR stumbled on jumping from the inside box and was tightened into the first bend.
Race 7	O'Sheas Public House Dash - C0 - 295	SHEZA COOL ONE ran out after the jump checking HARD TO SAY and CAWBOURNE TOUCH. UNCLE EARL moved outwards from the rail into the bend checking GENISTA FLAME and BEAT THE FOURCHE.
Race 8	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C1 - 295	ROTKARA MOMENTS was very slow to jump and hit the rail into the bend when racing at the rear. A veterinary check revealed no injury.
Race 9	www.willywhatatstud.com Stakes - C0 - 520	Both MEDIVAC and REAL SLIM SHADY were slow to jump. Into the bend KNOW TRUTH and HARRY GOODWIN were tightened by TOMMY TEALEAF and NATHAN OPAWA as they drove towards the lead. TEMPTING OFFER was checked soon after the start and into the back straight he and INDENTURE collided with MEDIVAC all losing ground.
Race 10	$25,000 Pick 6 Leg 1 - C2 - 295	SILENT WHISPER, YAKCAM and CAWBOURNE SNEAKY were tightened soon after the jump.
Race 11	Bill's Bar & Bistro Canterbury Futurity - R/Aq - 520 Heat 1	KICKING HORSE was tightened in the run to the first bend. Soon after BOMBAST and BRUNO came together both losing ground.
Race 12	Bill's Bar & Bistro Canterbury Futurity - R/Aq - 520 Heat 2	WINSOME OPAWA was slow to jump. Into the first bend OPAWA PATTY was tightened coming back on SPEED TICKET who checked out coming in contact with OZARK'S MASK. At the end of the back straight SPEED TICKET was tightened by an improving DEVOTCHA again losing ground.
Race 13	Bill's Bar & Bistro Canterbury Futurity - R/Aq - 520 Heat 3	FUNTASTIC BOY was slow to jump. Into the first bend MIXED GRILL struck the heels of APATCHE JET both losing momentum. At the end of the back straight MIXED GRILL struck the heels of AINT THAT COOL.
Race 14	Speights Six Pack - C1 - 520	ALLEGINI ran down towards the rail into the first bend tightening COSTA BRAVO, CAWBOURNE RANCH and HIGHGROVE. COSTA BRAVO finished last and was vetted with no injury detected.
Race 15	Trackside Dining 18 February Ph 3386145 Dash - C2 - 295	CALL ME and LES HART came together after the jump and again into the bend losing ground.
