Track: Good The power to the boxes was cut by a severe electrical storm and all races were hand started. The track had severe washouts in the previous nights storm but the track staff did a fine job to prepare the track to a good standard.

Race 1	Welcome To Cambridge Raceway Stakes - C1 - 457	BIGTIME COWELL weighed in 4.2 kgs above his last race weight on 10 December. The connections advised that this was the intention and the veterinarian confirmed that the dog was fit to run. THRILLING ASIA came up with the lids and lost ground. Into the bend MCCABE was badly checked and drifted to the rear while soon after PAYNE ZONE was squeezed between runners and fell. PAYNE ZONE completed the race with a post race veterinary check revealing grazing to nail bed and lateral toe with a five day stand down recommended.
Race 2	Greyhounds North Maiden Series - C0d - 650	All clear.
Race 3	Matangi Maiden - C0 - 457	BEN ZOIL was last away and remained there throughout. Into the bend FLYBY EAGLE was dragged down for a stride as HE'S STUNNING came together with it. FLYBY EAGLE then checked sharply outwards pushing HOTWAX very wide around that bend. FLYBY EAGLE weakened to finish sixth with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury.
Race 4	YGOT Bonus Stakes - C3 - 457	WINSOME BOND was slow to jump. CAWBOURNE GREG was checked and lost ground half way down the back straight. Into the bend EXCELLENT BEC improved along the inside of OSTI'S RUBY causing that runner to run outwards and check THRILLING ANGEL and COOL DISCO wider out. THRILLING ANGEL stumbled at this point and lost ground with a post race veterinary check revealing a spiked left hind foot with a seven day stand down recommended.
Race 5	Interislander Stakes - C1 - 457	HUGHES BALE ran inwards for a stride and checked LADY MARIANNE soon after the jump. In the approach to the bend FANCY KATE and CENTRAL CYRUS came together for a stride.
Race 6	0800 4Down Cow Stakes - C4 - 457	PAYNEFUL TRUTH was slow to jump. YAMBLA JACK was dragged down by kennelmate ITCHICOO PARK into the bend with both dogs losing ground. A post race veterinary check of YAMBLA JACK revealed no injury.
Race 7	Protector Safety Stakes - C1 - 457	AWESOME FOOT and HOT FONZ came together twice before the turn and shortly after THRILLING MISS was tightened and lost ground. WINSOME FREDDY was subject to a post race veterinary check that revealed a swollen track leg with a ten day stand down recommended.
Race 8	Raceway Sprint - C4 - 375	AWESOME VOYAGE was last to jump. Into the bend ALL ABOUT DOSH ran outwards badly checking ZAMBORA MAN who lost ground and PRINCESS SNOWY who was badly dragged down and lost her chance. A post race veterinary check of PRINCESS SNOWY revealed spike wounds and grazes with a five day stand down recommended.
Race 9	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Dash - C4/5 - 375	BRIGHT CONQUEST ran inwards soon after the jump severely tightening DISCO JORDY and NATIONAL DEBT into the turn with NATIONAL DEBT falling. PRIVATE PEDRO, BRIGHT CONQUEST and YOUNG VALIANT were all badly checked in this incident. A post race veterinary check of NATIONAL DEBT revealed a spike wound to a toe with a five day stand down recommended.
Race 10	TAB Pump & Automotive Stakes - C5 - 457	FANCY MEL was slow to jump. WINSOME JAMES crossed sharply from an outside draw and tightened a number of runners with SUB CLASS, STICKY BOY and BROTHER RABBIT being the worst affected. STICKY BOY and BROTHER RABBIT both appeared to hit the running rail with post race veterinary checked revealing no injuries.
