Judicial report: Trainer J.E.Dunn admitted two breaches of Rule 69.11 in relation to presenting Greyhounds GENISTA ASSASSIN 2.2 kilograms under its last race day weight and GENISTA ROCKET 2.6 KILOGRAMS under its last race day weight. He was fined $ 100-00 for each offence.

Race 1	Trainers Maiden Cup - C0f - 520	TYPHOON PETE who drew box one was checked back to last on the first corner as outside runners moved across. He was improving on the rail racing into the final bend when checked again when ENY INFO moved in and TYPHOON PETE never recovered and finished in last place.
Race 2	ANGLO UPHOLSTERERS - C1 - 520	One of the better supported runners MANLY MAGIC was forced to race wide over extra ground in the early and middle stages after starting from box 8 and he never recovered and finished in last place.
Race 3	B & P ENGINEERING - C4 - 305	General crowding soon after the start resulted in jostling to ANOTHER NICK, GENISTA ASSASSIN, GROOVE ARMADA, WHATA BOWLA, CAWBOURNE CLICK and CAWBOURNE DORE. WHATA BOWLA checked off the heels of a runner ahead on the first corner and moved out causing a check to CAWBOURNE DORE who lost several lengths and he finished in last place.
Race 4	CAFE CIBO - UPPER HUTT - C1 - 520	PURE FURY was slow to begin and then covered extra ground when racing wide on the first bend and she finished well back. BLACK OCTANE and KNOW FRIENDS bumped together in the run to the first corner and dropped back to near the rear and they stayed well back.
Race 5	THORNTON AUCTIONS - PENROSE - C2 - 520	JACK BANNER and BOTANY TOM collided when tightened on the first corner and they lost ground which they were not able to make up and they finished in the last two places. The winner YORKLEA BEAUTY and the 2nd dog RUMOUR TISM came together in the home straight but the video films clearly showed that RUMOUR TISM had not turned its head towards the other dog.
Race 6	OPAWA RACING LTD - C2/3 - 520	GENISTA DIAMOND was checked soon after the start and settled three lengths last but made up ground well for 4th place. GENISTA BELLE moved out on the first corner and checked COVELLE who had to change ground but he recovered to finish in 2nd place. BIGTIME RELOADER and KNOCK 'EM DOWN led starting on the last bend but collided at that point and KNOCK 'EM DOWN lost ground and eventually finished in 5th place while BIGTIME RELOADER went on to win the race.
Race 7	VALLEY PARKING SERVICES - C5 - 305	Trainer H.McCracken was spoken to advisedly after he had scratched CHILD'S PLAY the day prior to the meeting when he knew the dog would not be starting after being stood down by the Vet on the 20.01.10. While this was not a breach of the Rules, it did result in the first reserve ANOTHER BAXTER being scratched under the 100 kilometre rule two days prior to the meeting and the Trainer J.McInerney advised the Stewards that had he known that CHILD'S PLAY was to be scratched, he would have presented his dog to race. One of the favourites TWO TO MIDNIGHT was handy on the first corner but was tightened between JILL BAXTER and SWIFT CONQUEST, was checked and almost fell losing several lengths and he finished in last place. BRASS KNUCKLES checked off the heels of JILL BAXTER on the home turn and ran wide into the straight and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 8	BROWNZYS SPORTS BAR - NORTH SHORE - C4/5 - 520	FATHER FIGURE ran in from the start and checked MYA FLYER, RAPPER NEWY, CAWBOURNE BOLT and FINN'S ANGEL who all lost ground. CAWBOURNE BOLT moved out on the first corner and checked RAPPER NEWEY who stumbled losing several lengths and he stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 9	COMMERCIAL PLUMBING - AUCKLAND 6 PACK - C5 - 305	KYLE IZMIR was handy approaching the straight entrance but was checked then faltered and dropped back and was struck from behind by POWERFUL ENEMY and dropped out to finish several lengths last. KYLE IZMIR was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a gracilus muscle injury. ALLEGRO VISION moved in from the start and checked SHE ROCKS. Soon after UPAHUT ZORRO moved out and checked SHE ROCKS, BIGTIME SURVIVOR and KYLE IZMIR who all lost ground.
Race 10	GOLD BAND FINANCE - C4 - 305	BIGTIME BOMBER was handy in 2nd place on the bend when he faltered and pulled up. He was examined by the Vet and euthanased due to a fractured foreleg.
