Into the home straight THRILLING HALLE clipped the heels of an improving HANDSOME HAND falling heavily as a result. A veterinary check on THRILLING HALLE revealed nothing amiss. |
| Race 3 | Summertime Stakes - C0 - 390 | TUKURUA COLT was a late scratching when found to be lame in the right tricep muscle when taken from his kennel for race preparation. MRS. PATCH was tightened into the corner before coming in contact with GIMME A DREAM. |

| Race 8 | Molly O'Gradys - C0 - 390 | LIFE WITH DEXTER ran in after jumping knocking over THRILLING PEACH who fell before regaining her feet to finish last. Into the corner HISLOP'S HAND, OUR SWEET ROSE and TARGET were all checked from general tightening. THRILLING PEACH was vetted with no injury detected. |

Into the corner the lure stopped abruptly with the field catching it, before four runners ran on to complete the race distance. The race was declared a No Race in terms of Rule 76.1. TATTY BOGLE was found to have pain on flexion to his right carpus with a 5 day stand down recommended. It was reported that the bottom wheel of the lure had jumped out of line resulting in no direct drive to propel the lure forward. That was caused by the lure gearing on the rail having manoeuvred out of line during the days racing. |

Into the corner HOMEBUSH BONITA ran outwards forcing WAVE YA HAND into BABA GANOOSH, these two coming back on UNDER COVER and PRETTY GIRL. PRETTY GIRL was vetted and found to have pain to the left scapula with a 7 day stand down recommended. |

| Race 12 | $25 FIVE WIRE MUZZLE STAKES - C1 - 390 | Into the corner MOMENT and JUST POPPY were tightened coming back on ASTRO DAVE, WICHITA LINEMAN, HEAVEN'S BEST and CAWBOURNE DUNE. In the home straight the leader CAWBOURNE LORNA eased noticeably and turned her head, to be beaten by one and a half lengths. CAWBOURNE LORNA was the subject of a veterinary check in terms of Rule 80.1.b and was found to have a serious wound to her left fore which required sutures with a 21 day stand down recommended. She was stood down up to and including 3 February 2010 and ordered to undertake a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with Rule 80.5 . |

| Race 15 | BOUNCE B POWDER - C5 - 390 | SUNSET BOMBER and ANOTHER BAXTER were checked soon after the jump. Into the corner NITRO PEGGY was tightened before SUNSET BOMBER and ANOTHER BAXTER came together for a number of strides. |
