| Race 1 | Quality Presentations Ltd Maiden Sprint - C0 - 375 | The hot favourite WAITOTARA RED was slow to begin along with GOLDLASS and MAN OH MAN and they lost several lengths. WAITOTARA RED then ran wide on the bend over extra ground and finished in 2nd last place, just ahead of GOLDLASS. |
| Race 2 | INTERISLANDER Maiden Sprint - C0 - 375 | THRILLING YORK and POWER OF ZEN were checked in the run to the first corner with THRILLING YORK in particular losing several lengths and he stayed back to finish in last place. CAWBOURNE SPARK moved in entering the home straight and caused a slight check to PURE TEMPTATION who lost momentum and went from 3rd to 5th place and finished in that position. |
| Race 3 | Oroua Downs Tannery Maiden Middle Distance - C0 - 457 | GO BOOF ran in from the start and checked WAHINE KURE and soon after, WANDY JAY JAY was also checked and he dropped back to be several lengths last and he stayed there to the finish. |

ALL ABOUT LOUD was away well and handy racing to the first corner but was checked and went back to near the rear and stayed there to finish in 6th place. |
| Race 5 | Burlace & Pain, Panelbeaters Sprint - C1 - 375 | The eventual winner MIGHTY BIG SAM ran in from the start and checked BIGTIME ALL STAR and MISS TORI who both lost ground and settled at the rear and they never recovered and finished with the tail enders. |
| Race 6 | Radio Trackside 828AM Manawatu Six Pack Sprint - C1 - 375 | PORT OF SPARTA who had not raced for two months was very difficult to load into the boxes and a close watch will be kept on the dog in the future. RAGING CONQUEST drifted to near the rear from the start and faltered on the bend and pulled up. He was examined by the Vet, found to have suffered a serious hock injury and was humanely euthanased. |
| Race 7 | Manawatu Security Fencing Sprint - C1 - 375 | The favourite MAGIC ELLA went up with the box lids and lost four lengths. She then raced wide on the bend and into the straight over extra ground and finished in 6th place. SUZIE THE FLUZY, who had not raced for three months, began well enough but drifted to the rear and finished several lengths last. |
| Race 8 | Outback Trading Company Ltd Middle Distance - C1 - 457 | CAWBOURNE WAYNE was slow to begin losing three lengths and he then ran wide over extra ground on the bend and finished in last place. BLACK DELORIAN moved away from the rail on the first corner and checked MUSTARD KEEN and the favourite THRILLING SIREN who both lost ground. MUSTARD KEEN recovered best to finish well for 3rd place with THRILLING SIREN back in 6th place. |

| Race 10 | GEON Wellington Middle Distance - C1 - 457 | SMART JOSEPHINE raced onto the heels of ASK THE BANDIT on the bend and they both lost ground and drifted back and finished in the last two places. |
