Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: Trainers DE STAPLETON and SR FAGAN were fined $100.00 for a bearch of Rule 69.11 when HIGHGROVE, a starter in Race 15 weighed in 3.1kgs above his last race start weight.
Trainer RD BLACKBURN was warned of her obligations under Rule 71.2 as a result of her failing to report to the kennels to prepare her dog KAIAPOI JADE for Race 6. The dog was prepared and handled by Trainer W MITCHELL. BLACKBURN reported that she had felt unwell and had gone to rest in her van in the trainers carpark after Race 4 and had dosed off before being woken to be advised the race had just concluded.
Trainer MJ FLIPP was warned of her obligations under Rule 71.4 where she had agreed to catch HEAR THE CHEERS for trainer AD WILLIAMS. In explanation she advised that she had left the course with her partner to attend to funeral arrangements for his late mother's funeral and had overlooked her obligations to WILLIAMS.

Race 2	Challenge Opawa All Up Dash - C0 - 295	SAL BAXTER was slow to jump with OPAWA MISSY scrambling for a stride or two. Into the bend LUKES FORTUNE was tightened before being dragged down by JUST ADDISON who checked outwards forcing OPAWA MISSY wide. LUKES FORTUNE was vetted with no injury detected.
Race 3	Hampden Tavern Sprint - C1 - 295	FURMINATOR was tightened into the bend. Approaching the home straight MOVE OVER DALE ran inwards tightenening JULINSKY and CAWBOURNE SIENNA, all losing ground, before PALOMINE crossed WITCHITA LINEMAN who was also checked. Soon after HOMEBUSH BADGER ran in colliding with FURMINATOR when racing near the rear. JULINSKY was subject to a veterinary check and found to have a fracture or collaratal ligament rupture of the left hind 5th toe with a 28 day stand down recommended.
Race 4	Garrard's Horse & Hound Stakes - C0 - 520	HERE EYE AM was slow to jump. Into the first bend RAMA DING DONG eased when racing in the clear before settling last. Trainer M ROBINSON was shown the race film by IStewards who deemed RAMA DING DONG to have not pursued the lure. A charge under Rule 80.1.b was preferred by Stewards with RAMA DING DONG being stood down for a period of 28 days. Into the home straight FLASH TREV and RAMA DING DONG came together.
Race 5	Advance Pet Nutrition Maiden Sprint Final - C0f - 295	LIFE WITH DEXTER was tightened soon after the jump. Into the bend GO WILD SHANE checked KILKENNY who came back on CAWBOURNE DUNE, LIFE WITH DEXTER, PRIDE OF SOUTH and FAT TONY with REDDY BOY having his hindquarters clipped by FAT TONY losing ground for a stride or two.
Race 6	Alysha Steele & Sarah Lozell Sprint - C1 - 295	MALROY and CAWBOURNE JODIE were checked into the bend.
Race 7	George Calvert Cleaning Stakes - C1 - 520	All clear.
Race 8	Coalgate Tavern Sprint - C1 - 295	Into the bend FINE FASHION ran outwards tightening MUSTARD FUDGE and BABA GANOOSH.
Race 9	www.greyhoundtips.co.nz Dash - C0 - 295	ACHEW ACHEW was slow to jump. Into the bend SHEZA COOL ONE struck the heels of TEEARE FIFTY before moving ou and checking MRS.PATCH, ROTKARA MOMENTS and ACHEW ACHEW.
Race 10	Excelsior Sports Bar & T.A.B. Dash - C1 - 295	MOMENT was slow to jump.
Race 11	$300 Tuesday Place Pick Dash - C1 - 295	LINCOLN ZEPHYR was very slow to jump. Soon after the jump BREAKING WAVES was tightened by CHILE LOPEZ. Into the bend BREAKING WAVES moved outwards colliding with BOTANY NORMA, both being checked. SING CILLA BLACK was subject to a veterinary check with no injury detected.
Race 12	Shirley Veterinary Centre Distance Feature - C0d - 645	ROCKY'S STAR tightened JODIE BALE when going to the lead who checked out and forced HEAR THE CHEERS wide. Into the home straight ROCKY'S STAR was checked by the eventual winner ALCATRAZ BOY as he went to the lead.
Race 13	www.containersdirect.co.nz Sprint - C1 - 295	Both COT CASE CUTIE and DAIMLER DAVE were slow to jump. Into the bend an improving DAIMLER DAVE moved off the rail onto AVANZATA who was checked along with SURFIN' BIZAAR, CALM WAVES and COT CASE CUTIE.
Race 14	Clarkson Sign Studio Sprint - C2 - 295	Into the bend OPAWA MEGASTAR crosed down in front of FANTASY BAXTER who was checked coming back on LESTER. All three finished at the rear.
Race 15	$25,000 Pick Six Leg One - C1 - 520	Both IRISH BOIMBER and CROSSFIRE MAX were slow to jump. Into the first bend HIGHGROVE ran down towards the rail colliding with IRISH BOMBER. Soon after UNO JEWEL ran out taking an improving CROSSFIRE MAX around the bend.
Race 16	Kolorful Kanvas Sprint - C2 - 295	AINT THAT COOL was slow to jump. Soon after the start ROYAL CHARADE was tightened. Into the bend AINT THAT COOL improved along the rail forcing HOMEBUSH MATE out onto BLACK MUSCAT, SORRY VANDERFORD and BAMBOOZLA.
Race 17	Robbie's Bar & Bistro Stakes - C1 - 520	CAWBOURNE NORMA jumped awkwardly. Into the bend UNDER COVER ran out colliding with CAWBOURNE NORMA before tightening DUDLEY RAMA and KNOW RESPONSE.
Race 18	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C3 - 295	ROYAL LYCAON ran out after the jump coming in contact with LE FLAMBEUR and THRILLING RILEY who were forced outwards causing TALENT CITY to run wide.
Race 19	Speights Six Pack - C2 - 520	TIJAN ran out into LET'S DEBATE soon after the jump and held LET'S DEBATE centre track around the first bend. OPAWA PADLESS and DON THE HOP collided into the first bend.
Race 20	Be Back Friday Night Dash - C3 - 295	EARS CHUCK was tightened by dogs on his outer into the bend drifting quickly to last.
