Track: Good The track was worked up and relaid prior to this meeting and was in good order apart from the two bends where holes were created by the dogs paws and the grooming mat was not leaving a good even surface. The Club Manager has given an assurance that new equipment recently purchased will be used to attempt to alleviate this problem.

Race 1	Allied Work Force 0800 Labour - C2 - 305	SPECTRA CONQUEST was checked on the first corner losing several lengths and she stayed back to finish in last place. HAILSTONE HARLY and CAWBOURNE SHOT were also checked on the first corner and lost some ground.
Race 2	Guthrie Bowron, Wanganui - C2/3 - 305	This race was started 3 minutes late at the request of T.A.B Control after a Harness race start was delayed. HUTT PARK LASS and WHAT'S UP ADDIS collided soon after the start and BACK DRAUGHT was also checked in the incident and they settled at the rear and stayed well back throughout. LE FLAMBEUR ran out several widths in the back straight and caused a check to CAWBOURNE RYE who stumbled and lost ground and he finished in 2nd last place.
Race 3	Wanganui Farm Supplies - C4 - 305	ANDY D'GANDY was last away from the boxes and could not keep up and drifted to be five lengths behind the 2nd last dog on the first corner and he finished in 7th place, just ahead of CAWBOURNE DORE who had checked over the heels of LEUMEAH MISS and lost ground on the bend.
Race 4	Advance Pet Nutrition - C2/3 - 305	BIGTIME SLAMMER and CAPTAIN CARLOS were checked and lost ground on the first corner. CAPTAIN CARLOS checked over the heels of HOMEBUSH PERCY on the home turn, lost further ground and finished in 6th place. BIGTIME SLAMMER recovered from the early check and finished in 4th place. BIGTIME SLAMMER suffered a split webbing and was stood down for 21 days.
Race 5	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd - INVq - 305 Heat 1	BILLY WHIZ moved out from the start and caused a slight check to MYA FLYER who lost ground. JUST LIKE BEE was checked on the first corner and went back causing checks to MYA FLYER and POLSKA and all three lost several lengths and finished in the rear group.
Race 6	Keenan Concrete 6 Pack - C2/3 - 520	COVELLE, UPAHUT SLAYER and WHAT A MATE were slow to begin. COVELLE recovered and went on to win with ease but UPAHUT SLAYER and WHAT A MATE stayed back and finished in the rear group.
Race 7	Morrie Gibbons Signs - INVq - 305 Heat 2	THRILLING WAG was one of the slowest to begin and settled well back. He then ran very wide over extra ground on the bend and into the straight and finished in last place.
Race 8	Mickey's Super Liquor - C4/5 - 520	MILLY'S MATE ran in from the start and checked CAWBOURNE KING who settled at the rear. WANDY HAKA was checked and fell on the first corner and KID DELANEY and MILLY'S MATE were affected in the incident and lost ground. WANDY HAKA was examined by the Vet and stood down for 5 days with grazing and bruising.
Race 9	Broad Roofing Services - C5 - 305	PIZZA GIRL began a little awkwardly and settled well back. She then checked off the heels of HUTT PARK FLYER and ran wide on the bend and into the straight and finished in 2nd last place. MAJOR HIT galloped on the heels of CAWBOURNE CART on the home turn and they both lost momentum for a couple of strides.
Race 10	www.wanganuicarcentre.com - C5 - 305	ARTEMIS LADY was bumped twice in the back straight by SUPER SAGE and then checked off the heels of SUPER SAGE approaching the home turn and lost mommentum each time and finished in 2nd last place.
