Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: The inside 50-75cm of the track is very soft compared with the outside of the track which is consistent but firmer. Some trainers expressed concerns at the possible inconsistency of the inside running and potential problems. Stewards checked the track prior to the meeting, at the conclusion of trials and during the meeting to monitor any potential safety concerns.

Race 1	Advance Pet Nutrition Sprint - C3 - 295	On the turn KNOW TROUBLE moved outwards and checked the running of CHLOE BEAR and INGA THE WINGA.
Race 2	Challenge Opawa All Up dash - C4 - 295	Into the bend LITTLE MARVEL was tightened by ROTKARA LUCY crossing from the outside with a resultant check to MISS BRUGGE.
Race 3	Sky High Scaffolding Distance - C1d - 645	Into the first turn the field tightened with resultant checks to DON THE HOP and LEGALLY BINDING who went back to the rear and lost all chances.
Race 4	www.duvauchellehotelmotel.co.nz Stakes - C3 - 520	In the run to the turn SUPER STORM pushed outwards and checked the running of GENISTA DIAMOND and then forced that dog wide on the turn, with both dogs losing all chances to finish towards the rear.
Race 5	Shirley Veterinary Centre Dash - C3 - 295	In the run to the turn SCARLET EMPRESS was tightened between KNOW FAITH and BOMBER MAN and lost ground. At the pull up BOMBER MAN struck the lure and fell heavily and was subject to a veterinary check which revealed a tear to the skin of the left fore leg with a 10 day stand down recommended.
Race 6	Speight's Six Pack - C5 - 520	Into the first turn HEAR THE CHEERS pushed outwards and checked the running of SMASH MCCOY.
Race 7	Bill's Bar & Bistro Sprint - C5 - 295	From the jump JUST A BOLT crossed over from the outside draw and checked the running of CURVE BALL who was further checked by LIAM BALE as the field came together into the turn.
Race 8	www.greyhoundtips.co.nz Stakes - C4 - 520	As the field came together into the first turn BRITNEY LANE was tightened and was struck from behind by FLYING ASPEN with both dogs losing ground to finish at the rear. FLYING ASPEN was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury.
Race 9	Barron's Supplies Sprint - C5 - 295	In the run to the turn KNOW LOVE ran outwards and forced LINCOLN BRAND and CAWBOURNE CART wide with a severe check to SINGAPORE WILLY who lost all chances to finish last. Into the home straight SUPERFINE ran out and checked the running of CAWBOURNE CART.
Race 10	www.simplygrey.co.nz Feature - R/A - 520	All clear.
Race 11	Dave Robbie Photographer Sprint - C4 - 295	Into the turn TICKLE TOE ran outwards and was struck in the rear by a trailing ROCKA HULA. TICKLE TOE was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury.
Race 12	Happy New Year Dash - C5 - 295	All clear.
