| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour - C0 - 305 | SUCH HOPE, LOST FRIENDS and HOMEBUSH ACE were slow to begin losing three lengths. SUCH HOPE recovered to make up ground and finished in 3rd place but the other two stayed back to finish in the rear group. WAIRERE MIRACLE drew box 8 and she raced out wide throughtout over extra ground and finished in last place. |
| Race 2 | Bilderbeck Construction - C1 - 305 | BIGTIME ALEX and JASON BOURNE were checked back to the rear in the run to the first corner and they stayed back to finish in the rear group. STUMPY RELTUB led to the home turn but raced wide into the straight and this possibly affected its chance of winning and she finished in 2nd place. |
| Race 3 | Broad Roofing Services - C0 - 305 | ITERU KEFA was slow to begin losing three lengths and she stayed back and finished in last place. The favourite PURE TEMPTATION was handy to the first corner but was then checked and dropped back onto EVE HILL and they never recovered and finished near the rear. |
| Race 4 | Mickeys Super Liquor - C0 - 305 | KARAKA ROYAL ran in from the start and VONRYANS XPRESS ran out and this resulted in tightening to BLUE BULLET but she recovered quickly to be handy on the first corner and went on to finish in 2nd place. WANDY JAY JAY followed KARAKA ROYALE inwards from the start but settled well back anf finished in last place. The favourite MAGIC ELLA was the slowest away and then raced wide over extra ground but finished well for 3rd place. |
| Race 5 | Morrie Gibbons Signs - C1 - 305 | The start was delayed by 2 minutes at the request of Raceday Control. THRILLING KADEE was the slowest to begin and she stayed well back to finish in 2nd last place. UNO I'M QUICK was tightly placed inside SCOTT NO FUNDING in the run to the first corner and she lost three lengths. The favourite SCOTT NO FUNDING had every chance but only ran on fairly for 5th place. |
| Race 6 | Keenan Concrete 6 Pack - C1 - 520 | BARRY'S INTENT ran in racing to the first corner and jostled DAPTO TOKEN and WHAT'S SHE PAYNE for several strides. Soon after, PRINCE ALBERT moved out and this resulted in jostling and checks to itself and also RUN BROADY RUN, OKAY'S DE BRITTO and WHAT A MATE and they all lost ground and were in the last four places on the first bend. |
| Race 7 | Gary Ross Decorator - C1 - 305 | IN THE BIN and ASH VEGAS were slow to begin but they did make up some ground to finish in 4th and 5th places. |
| Race 8 | www.wanganuicarcentre.com - C1 - 305 | SINBINED was a late scratching shortly before start time when found to be sore on release from its kennel. THRILLING BLADE was slow to begin losing four lengths but he then secured a clear rails run to finish well for 3rd place. ZETA JONES and SKIPPER LADY collided soon after the start and settled at the rear and they stayed there to the finish. ALL ABOUT MILLY was checked on the bend and lost ground when THRILLING BLADE moved through on the inside and bumped her. |
| Race 9 | Guthrie Bowron, Wanganui - C1 - 305 | CAWBOURNE WAYNE was a late scratching shortly before start time when found to be sore in a tricep muscle after being removed from the kennels. HOMEBUSH CINDY ran in from the start and checked THRILLING TIM and THRILLING IRIS who settled at the rear and stayed well back. BACK AT YA was away very well to lead but then ran wide over extra on the bend and finished in 4th place. |
| Race 10 | Harrison Hire Master - C1 - 305 | MAGNIFICENT, who had not raced for 4 months was down 3.3 kilograms from its last start weight and the Trainer was happy with the weight and the dog was declared fit to start after the Vets inspection. MAGNIFICENT was away well but was drifting on the bend, was then checked near the straight entrance and finished in last place. MISSY OCTANE was away well then raced very wide over extra ground but finished well for 3rd place. |
