Judicial report: BLACK COUGAR had completed a satisfactory trial under Rule 80 on Wednesday 16th December therefore being eligible to run in Race 4.

Race 1 Simply Grey Sprint - C1 - 318 TONY'S PEDRO was slow to jump. BITTA ZIP was tightened and lost ground just prior to the bend and soon after RAT INDEED got on the back of LEFT CAMBER and fell. As EXCELLENT BEC reached the lead into the bend she was dragged down by HOMEBUSH ASTRID. EXCELLENT BEC recovered well to run second. Post race veterinary checks were carried out on EXCELLENT BEC and RAT INDEED. EXCELLENT BEC had lameness and bruising to medial proximal tibia with a ten day stand down recommended while RAT INDEED was clear of injury.
Race 2 Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C0 - 318 This race was delayed by two minutes at the request of Raceday Control. DURHAM ASSASSIN was the last to jump but recovered quickly to be second into the bend where he remained. CARIBBEAN EBONY checked off the back of WILLEE WINDSOR into the bend and fell. She quickly regained her feet and completed the event with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury.
Race 3 The Alamo Bar & TAB Stakes - C1 - 527 FLY BEAU was last to jump while GIRL LEG was forced wide around the first bend and lost a length.
Race 4 Carol's TABs Sprint - C4 - 318 PRINCESS SNOWY and DREAM A WIN came together and jostled for some distance in the back straight losing ground while WILD FLYNN was held up in behind them. NEW CLEAR POWER faltered soon after the finish with a post race veterinary check revealing a broken hock with the dog being euthanased.
Race 5 $25,000 Pick6 Stakes - C3 - 527 TALAVERO was slow to jump but made ground well for second. CAWBOURNE SNOWY was badly held up into the first bend and lost momentum settling last. I'M A FOOL was handy until the final bend when she started to weaken and was badly checked when in between runners dropping out to finish last. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury.
Race 6 Trophies Plus Stakes - C1 - 527 MCCABE and STRIKE ONCE were both slow to leave the boxes.
Race 7 Terry Ryan Timber Sprint - C5 - 318 ALL ABOUT DOSH was held up and lost ground at the end of the back straight. Into that bend TO THE CREST, SHOW THE MONEY and NATIONAL DEBT were all tightened and lost ground.
Race 8 Deli's Sports Bar Sprint - C1 - 318 Favourite LOWS AND HIGHS was tightened into the bend and ran outwards on to THRILLING IRIS and TAWHIRI who lost ground.
Race 9 Pacific Sheet & Coil (NZ) Stakes - C4/5 - 527 SEASWIFT and SHINE FOR US came together for a stride in the early stages. Favourite SHOWBAGS showed them a clean pair of paws in front throughout giving trainer David Schofield his sixth winner in consecutive races.
Race 10 Merry Christmas To All Sprint - C2 - 318 BANKSIDE LASS and THRILLING HONEY came together on the home turn when well back. At the lure THRILLING HONEY took a spectacular leap over the entire field and fell. The dog got up straight away and a post race veterinary check revealed no injury.
