Track: Good The track was well watered throughout the evening. Some concern was raised later in the meeting at the paw prints evident on the surface which were the result of the watering. These were checked by Stewards and were smoothed out by the track curator and not considered in any way a safety concern.
Scales: Correct at designated weights.

Race 1	Advance Pet Nutrition Sprint - C3 - 295	BLACK MUSKAT was slow to jump and never recovered to finish at the tail of the field. Into the turn MULBERRY MADAM moved outwards and checked DOUGSTAR JAKE with a resultant check to the trailing CAWBOURNE SCARY. As a result of the incident DOUGSTAR JAKE ran outwards on the turn and pushed ROYAL LYCAON over extra ground.
Race 2	Challenge Opawa All Up Dash - C4 - 295	In the run to the turn GENISTA ROCKET crossed over and checked the running of KNOW DESIRE and HAILSTONE HERB and then came into contact with the running rail. GENISTA ROCKET was subject to a veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss.
Race 3	David Emerson Consultancy Sprint - C5 - 295	In the run to the turn SUNSET BOMBER was checked as the field tightened and went back to finish at the rear. Into the turn CAWBOURNE CART moved inwards and checked the running of MULBERRY RECO who pushed out wide and struck KNOW HELP with both dogs losing all chances to finish back in the field. SUNSET BOMBER was subject to a veterinary check which showed no injury.
Race 4	www.duvauchellehotelmotel.co.nz Stakes - C3 - 520	VICTORY CHEERS and LAGER IN PARIS were tightened in the run to the first turn and lost ground. Into the back straight MISS IDOL and SMASH PALACE came together with both dogs losing ground to finish back in the field.
Race 5	Kolorful Kanvas Distance - C1d - 645	In the run to the first turn KNOW SPIRIT crossed over and tightened DEVOTCHKA who went backwards and never recovered to finish at the rear.
Race 6	Speight's Six Pack - C2 - 520	From the jump BABA GANOOSH pushed inwards and checked the running of OLD MATE DAVE.
Race 7	www.greyhoundtips.co.nz Sprint - C4 - 295	In the run to the turn LEUMEAH MISS was tightened and went back on top of KNOW GOOD with both dogs losing ground to finish at the rear.
Race 8	Battle Of The Sexes Final - C5f - 520	From the jump the favourite WINSOME BUCKS was checked by LIZZY LEE. On the first turn SMASH KINGDOM ran outwards and forced ST. WILD and POISED wide on the track. Then into the back straight an improving WINSOME BUCKS was further checked as the field tightened, but recovered to run on late for third placing.
Race 9	Canterbury O.T.B Assn. Dash - C5 - 295	In the run to the turn HOMEBUSH REECE crossed over and checked the running of GIVE ME MORE and KNOW NEED.
Race 10	Barron's Supplies Stakes - C3/4 - 520	On the first turn SELF INFLICTED was struck in the rear by FLYING ASPEN and stumbled losing ground to finish a distant last. During the incident KNOCK 'EM DOWN was checked and lost all chances to finish in 7th place. SELF INFLICTED was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury.
Race 11	www.containersdirect.co.nz Dash - C5 - 295	Into the turn LES BAXTER pushed outwards and came into contact with RUDE RODNEY who was forced into TALIESIN BLUE who was crossing over from an outside draw. RUDE RODNEY went backwards and was struck in the rear by KNOW LOVE who was forced outwards and puched TICKLE TOE wider on the track.
Race 12	Dave Robbie Photographer Sprint - C4 - 295	Into the home straight the early leader CAWBOURNE MOLLY ran outwards and checked the favourite CAFE CAPRI.
