Track: Good The track is in good condition considering approximately 22 mls of rain fell on the preceeding night. There appeared to be some confusion as to the time the harness horses were to finish working on the harness horses on a greyhound race day. This matter is to be investigated.
Scales: Checked and correct at 30 kg.

Race 1	Advance Pet Nutrition Sprint - C0 - 295	Racing into the first bend DIGITALIS got onto the heels of PINTA GUINNESS and drifted back sharply. On the point of the turn TEEARE FIFTY in attempting to move away from the rail momentarily inconvenienced PINTA GUINNESS.
Race 2	Challenge Opawa All Up Sprint - C1 - 295	MATAGOURI MO was slow to begin. BETTY BEEP was squeezed between CAWBOURNE JODIE and ARCHILLIES as a result of HOMEBUSH KALAMA moving away from the rail. As a result BETTY BEEP lost ground.
Race 3	Clarkson Sign Studio Dash - C0 - 295	Shortly after the start HOMEBUSH BROCK was squeezed when WATERHOUSE, FAT TONY and CAWBOURNE SPARK moved down towards the rail. HOMEBUSH BROCK then got onto the heels of FERAL DUCHESS.
Race 4	www.duvauchellehotelmotel.co.nz Stakes - C0 - 520	KNOW RESPONSE was squeezed out by WORTH WAITING and SHEZA COOL ONE at the winning post on the first occasion. CAWBOURNE DUNE came out onto SHEZA COOL ONE forcing this runner and KNOW RESPONSE over extra ground on the first bend.
Race 5	Super Pets Sprint - C1 - 295	Both WICHITA LINESMAN and VERONICA were slow to begin.
Race 6	www.greyhoundtips.co.nz Dash - C1 - 295	The favourite VAMPIRES SHADOW was slow to begin. Shortly before the first bend CAWBOURNE NORMA hit the rail and a post race veterinary check was ordered on this runner which revealed no abnormalities. Racing into the first bend VAMPIRES SHADOW attempted to move out checking HORSE POWER from behind with HORSE POWER almost falling as a result. HORSE POWER was subjected to a post race veterinary check which revealed no abnormalities.
Race 7	David Emerson Consultancy Sprint - C2 - 295	All clear.
Race 8	www.willywhatatstud.com Stakes - C1 - 520	The favourite, OPAWA DEBB, received a check from behind from CALM WAVES and lost ground.
Race 9	Shirley VeterinaryStakes - C1 - 520	AMBER DERVISH, MR BONZALAS, WHAT A MATE and SKY VANE all received some minor interference when racing back in the field at the winning post on the first occasion due to general buffeting. Around the first bend UNDER COVER ran out slightly and checked the favourite WAVE YA HAND.
Race 10	Kolorful Kanvas Sprint - C0 - 295	SLIGHTLY AMAZED was slow to begin. LAUREN'S LEGACY was squeezed by WHITEY'S WAY just prior to the first bend, also affected in this incident was PRIDE OF SOUTH. PRIDE OF SOUTH recovered well to finish second.
Race 11	Tuesday Place Pick Dash - C1 - 295	In attempting to move to the rail the favourite LES HART jostled with HOMEBUSH BONITA for some time and then lost ground. LES HART then moved up the rail and was checked by THAT'S BIZAAR, with LES HART appearing to hit the running rail. LES HART was subjected to a post race veterinary check which revealed no abnormalities. On the home turn CAWBOURNE SIENNA, when racing in second place, was hampered by COLERIDGE KID and lost considerable ground eventually finishing in last place.
Race 12	Celtic Arms Tavern Stakes - C0 - 520	The favourite, MEECES TO PIECES, was slow to begin. On entering the final bend MEECES TO PIECES appeared to falter and hit the rail when racing back in the field, a post race veterinary check was carried out which revealed superficial laceration to the left stifle as a result of hitting the rail and generalised soreness along back and pelvis with a ten day stand down. As the field passed the winning post on the first occasion SLENDER CHANCE moved out and severly checked SPEED TICKET, with SPEED TICKET almost falling. A post race veterinary check was carried out on SPEED TICKET which revealed a slight tie up, however the veterinary surgeon (Dr Lesley Roberts) stated there was no stand down required.
Race 13	Carol's TAB Sprint - C1 - 295	All clear.
Race 14	Wilson's Sports Bar & TAB Dash - C1 - 295	All clear.
Race 15	$15,000 Pick 6 Leg 1 - C1 - 520	The handler of HOMEBUSH OSO (K. O'Connor) requested a veterinary check of this greyhound following the stir up. HOMEBUSH OSO was given the all clear to start by the vet. CROSSFIRE MAX came out onto DANGLE THE CARAT and LEGALLY BINDING. SECRET CHLOE was subjected to a post race veterinary inspection which revealed a left carpal sprain with a 14 day stand down being given.
Race 16	Hampden Tavern Feature - SPECA - 520	CLEEVE HILL was checked when OPAWA FLYER rallied inside him and MIRAGE ROYALE moved down causing CLEEVE HILL to run out of room and fall. A post race veterinary check was carried out on CLEEVE HILL which revealed generalised soreness and a 7 day stand down being imposed. FROSTY BLONDE was also inconvenienced as a result of this incident.
Race 17	www.containersdirect.co.nz Feature - SPECA - 520	Shortly after the finish line on the first occasion MIXED GRILL ran out slightly and severely checked BOTANY KELLY with BOTANY KELLY falling heavily. BOTANY KELLY was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed a left shoulder injury (possibly a fracture or dislocation) with a 28 day stand down being imposed. MIXED GRILL failed to recover finishing well back. There was no head on video of this race. DA BOSS was removed from the box first list in accordance with Rule 72.11.
Race 18	George Calvert Cleaning Dash - C2 - 295	MEANDER was caught between SHIRAZ KEROMA and OLD MATE DAVE and lost a little ground. As the field turned for home UNO PIES, which was running second, appeared to falter and break down and drifted sharply through the field causing a slight check to KNOW GO. UNO PIES was subjected to a post race veterinary check which revealed a fractured right hock with a 28 day stand down being imposed.
Race 19	Speights Six Pack - C1 - 520	The favourite, FINE FASHION, which was racing handy at the winning post the first time appeared to falter and finish last. A post race veterinary inspection was carried out on FINE FASHION which revealed a left triceps muscle tear with a 21 day stand down being imposed.
Race 20	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C2 - 295	WHERE'S HEROS drifted out on the bend and then was pushed wider by CAWBOURNE SHOT and onto JEALOUS GLANCE.
