Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: FLOATING AWAY was a late scratching at kenneling on vets advice due to a toe joint injury.
UPAHUT ZORRO was a late scratching from race ten on vets advice due to bruising to a shoulder.
THRILLING PARIS was a late scratching for race ten due to a seasonal condition
PIZZA GIRL in race 7 & LITTLE MOTHER in race 8 were nominated to be swabbed but were released after race 10 by the stewards after consultation with the vet for animal health reasons,due to the veterinary surgeon having to attend to a severly injured dog SCISSOR SISTER who fell in race 9 and suffered severe lacerations which required a considerable amount of time to stitch ect .

Race 1	Allied Workforce 0800 Labour - C1/2 - 305	LEATHER JACKET (fav) stumbled out of the boxes and lost several lengths and then gained a run up on the fence racing in to the first turn ,and was then came together with RUSTY ENFORCER ,but was able to keep going and had an uninteruppeted run from ther on in for a easy win. As the field raced to the first turn RUSTY ENFORCER came out as MACAU came in and they came together with LEATHER JACKET resulting in RUSTY ENFORCER running on to the heels of MACAU and going back to the rear and raced very wide around the top bend as did DOOLEY'S CHICK FORWARD SOLUTION and STUMPY RELTUB also raced wide across the top bend and in to the home straight which caused them to cover a lot of extra ground and this may have cost a closer placing at the line
Race 2	Guthrie Bowron - C1 - 520	RED TERROR was awkwardly away at the start , but was able to gain a clear run after and won well . ASK THE BANDIT and BARRY'S INTENT raced tightly together from the boxes and around in to the back straight where BARRY'S INTENT started to drop back and lose ground and was noticed to be galloping uncomfortably in the home straight and finished in 2nd to last placing at the line and was sent for a vet check where he was found to have suffered a hip support injury with a 10 day stand down imposed FLOATING AWAY was a late scratching at kenneling on vets advice due to a toe injury
Race 3	Mickeys Super Liquor - C1/2 - 305	As they jumped from the boxes DEL TONES came across fast and took the line of PENIE'S FROM for a few strides. racing down to the first turn STAR TO EXCEL came across and tightened CAP FANTASTIC ,BIGTIME SURVIVOR and DREAM SEEKER ,causing these dogs to all be checked and lose ground especially BIGTIME SURVIVOR who was squeezed back towards the rear and had to make a run out wide and finished a gutsy 2nd placing at the line
Race 4	Wanganui Farm Supplies - C3 - 305	BILLY WHIZ and BIGTIME SLAMMER were slow away from the start by several lengths FAST STASS jumped away from the boxes across the face of CHILDS PLAY who was not badly affected by this . racing down to the first turn CHILDS PLAY came across towards the rail and severly hampered CLASSIC BEN and CAPTAIN CARLOS who was checked back and lost a fair bit of ground ,however he was able to get back in to the race and finished well for 3rd placing at the line
Race 5	GEON Wellington - C1/2 - 520	Racing down to the first turn HOMEBUSH NICK made a beeline for the rail and cut in across the face of SEPTEMBER BLUE and CHIVAS REGAL causing them to be checked ,then CYCLONE TRAVIS came across and pushed SEPTEMBER BLUE on to CHIVAS REGAL and these dogs became unbalanced for a few strides as they went in to the first bend SEPTEMBER BLUE was forced to cover a fair bit of extra ground ,but came with a whirlwind finish to nab HOMEBUSH NICK on the line ODI JAY led until the end of the back straight and was then observed to weaken out and finished towards the rear and was sent for a vet check as a precaution where no abnormalities were found
Race 6	Keenan Concrete - C4 - 305	BOB BAXTER (fav)was slow away Soon after the start NATASA'S DUFFER and ALECIA RELTUB came together for a few strides from the 5 & 6 boxes Soon after the start SWIP TASTIC came over towards the rail as JOSHIE'S GIRL came out under her neck and this caused SWIP TASTIC to run in to MYA FLYER and she almost hit the rail ,resulting in BOB BAXTER running on to her heels as he tried to make ground up along the rail
Race 7	Broad Roofing Services - C4/5 - 305	Soon after leaving the boxes CAWBOURNE FELLA and WONGAWILLINEV came together for a couple of strides, these two dogs came together again as ELITE DESTINY came across towards the rail and made contact with WONGAWILLINEV , CAWBOURNE FELLA was checked back and he could not recover from ther on in PIZZA GIRL showed her true class tonight ,she left the boxes smartly and was soon well in front and never headed from there on in to record her 58th win SUPER JAZZ was checked by the vet at the trainers request and was found to have suffered dislocated toes
Race 8	Morrie Gibbons Signs - C5 - 520	ALPHA DANCER came across towrds the rail from the start and forced FATHER FIGURE ,CAWBOURNE BOLT, MILLY'S MATE and SUB CLASS to all be checked severly and go back to the rear ,soon after ALPHA DANCER was checked back to the rear as STICKY BOY came out off the railat that point ALPHA DANCER was checked a couple more times throughout the running as he tried to improve and lost all chance there after and finished in last position at the line
Race 9	Gary Ross Decorator - C4/5 - 305	Soon after the start ALLEGRO VISION came across and forced SET IN STONE and JILL BAXTER over on to SCISSOR SISTERS who was forced over on to the running rail and fell and took no further part in the race and was carried back to the kennels with the vet for attention where she was found to have suffered severe lacerations to fore and hind legs with a 28 day stand down imposed
Race 10	Wanganui Car Centre - C4 - 305	Racing down to the first turn BACK DRAUGHT came across on to ROUGH ENFORCER and these two dogs tangled and were unbalanced and could not get back in to contention from there on there on in THRILLING PARIS was a late scratching due to a seasonal condition. UPAHUT ZORRO was a late scratching at kenneling due to a shoulder muscle injury.
