Judicial report: AH LEE made an application under Rule 80.7 in respect of OSWALD BOATENG . In accordance with the Rule the endorsement of 20 April 2009 was cancelled.

As a result of incidents following Race 9, charges under Rules 88.1.f and 88.1.g were open and adjourned against handler J McCook.

A charge arising from the same incident under Rule 88.1.q was opened and adjourned against the starter G McCormick pending further inquiries.

Race 1	Advance Pet Nutrition Sprint - C4 - 295	MISS BRUGGE was slow to jump from box 1. Into the bend GENISTA ASSASSIN tightened MONTIVIDEO resulting in an improving MISS BRUGGE checking out onto TARYN ROSE.
Race 2	Challenge Opawa All Up Dash - C3 - 295	Into the bend CAFE CAPRI tightened CAWBOURNE SCAREY who came back and was dragged down by OSWALD BOATENG. CAWBOURNE SCAREY checked out and into the path of ICE BALL who fell. CAWBOURNE SCAREY then collided with PAUA TO EXCEED. HAILSTONE HARLY scrambled over ICE BALL who regained his feet to finish the race. A veterinary check revealed no injury.
Race 3	Kolorful Kanvas Sprint - C4 - 295	BUICK BERNIE was slow from the inside box. Into the bend BETTY BEATZER and GROOVE ARMADA were tightened between BUICK BERNIE and improving and LOTTO LEO. LOTTO LEO was subject to a veterinary examination which revealed a spike wound to the right hind foot with a 7 day stand down recommended.
Race 4	www.duvauchellehotelmotel.co.nz Maiden Distance Feature - C0d - 645	DIARACK was slow to jump. Soon after the start TWO TICK JESSIE was tightened between dogs.
Race 5	George Calvert Cleaning Dash - C4 - 295	MOJAVE MICK was checked by GENISTA GEORGIA soon after he start before running out and colliding with CURVE BALL. Into the bend BOMBER MAN clipped the heels of CAWBOURNE HAPPY and GENISTA GEORGIA, with both CAWBOURNE HAPPY and GENISTA GEORGIA sustaining checks. GENISTA GEORGIA finished a long last and a veterinary check revealed nothing amiss.
Race 6	Speight's Six Pack - C5 - 520	KARA JANX ran outwards into the first bend colliding with CRAFTY CLEEVE who was forced wide taking WINSOME BUCKS with him Around the bend and into the back straight KARA JANX continued her outward movement checking ROCKY'S STAR on two occasions.
Race 7	www.containersdirect.co.nz Dash - C5 - 295	GRANT A FORTUNE ran outwards after the start checking TICKLE TOE and KNOW NEED. Into the bend HOMEBUSH REECE and DEAL FOR YOU were tightened by SUNSET BOMBER. In the home straight SUNSET BOMBER ran towards the rail causing JUST A BOLT to check outwards.
Race 8	Super Pets Maiden Distance Feature - C0d - 645	Soon after the start ALCATRAZ BOY struck the rear of KNOW SPIRIT who was turned sideways losing ground.
Race 9	www.willywhatatstud.com Stakes - C3/4 - 520	FLYING ASPEN was very slow to jump. Into the first bend SURF THE TURF was checked between dogs losing ground.
Race 10	Wilson's Sports Bar & T.A.B. Distance Feature - C2d - 645	GENISTA DIAMOND and COSTA BRAVO were tightened soon after the start.
Race 11	Barron's Supplies Sprint - C5 - 295	WATCH THE JET, LES BAXTER, SUPERFINE, RONRAY DISCO, KNOW LOVE and TALIESIN BLUE were all tightened and checked into the bend with WATCH THE JET finishing a distant last. A veterinary check revealed a torn left gracilus with a 28 day stand down recommended.
