ASTRO BLUES and WANDY KYLE were checked and lost ground on the first corner and they finished near the rear. |

COOL IDOL recovered to finish in 2nd place with the other two further back in the field. HEY GHANDI and CAWBOURNE ROD were checked back to the rear on the first corner and they stayed there to the finish. |
| Race 5 | GEON WELLINGTON - C0df - 645 | SEPTEMBER BLUE ran out from the start and made contact with CAWBOURNE WILKO and settled at the rear but made up ground well over the final stages to finish in 3rd place. |
| Race 6 | KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C1 - 520 | THRILLING ACE was awkwardly placed inside JOE BANNER on the first bend and was checked and went back to near the rear and stayed there to finish in 2nd last place. |
| Race 7 | BROAD ROOFING SERVICES - C1 - 305 | HOMEBUSH KING ran in from the start and checked PSYCHOTIC who went back to last. VIOLET JAZZ was handy enough on the bend but was checked back to near the rear and then recovered to finish in 4th place. THRILLING NOTE, PSYCHOTIC, UPAHUT STAR and BIGTIME MISS were all involved in an incident on the home turn from which THRILLING NOTE recovered to finish well for 2nd place but the other three dogs stayed back to fill the last three places. |
| Race 8 | MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C1 - 520 | TAILS OFF ran in from the start and bumped BOTANY TOM who lost ground and settled at the rear but made up ground to finiish in 4th place. MUSTARD KEEN was checked on the first corner and went back to last and she stayed there to the finish. |

BIGTIME EYE ran out from the start and jostled with CAWBOURNE WAYNE and THRILLING BLADE for a few strides. BIGTIME EYE, CAWBOURNE WAYNE, THRILLING BLADE, LOW AND HIGHS and SPECTRA CONQUEST were all checked and lost varying amounts of ground after interferance on the first corner. |
