Race 1 Advance Pet Nutrition Sprint - C1 - 295 MODERN WINDOW and HAMBURGER came together soon after the jump both losing ground. In the home straight the winner SORRY VANDERFORD ran inwards towards the rail checking runner up HOMEBUSH MATE.
Race 2 Challenge Opawa All Up Dash - C1 - 295 WICHITA LINEMAN was slow to jump. Into the bend HOMEBUSH BEST and SILENT STRYKER came together when vying for the lead with SILENT STRYKER sustaining a bad check which forced BETTY BEEP and PALOMINE wide with CHILE LOPEZ hitting the rear of SILENT STRYKER.
Race 3 www.duvauchellehotelmotel.co.nz Sprint - C1 - 295 VAMPIRES SHADOW and BOO ROO were slow to jump. Into the bend MAT BELOU and an improving VAMPIRES SHADOW came together with MAT BELOU sustaining a check.
Race 4 Flair Maiden - C0q - 520 Heat 1 Both JAZZY SHIRAZ and REAL SLIM SHADY were slow to jump. OPAWA BROOKE and RULEBOOK RAY came together into the back straight. Into the home straight HOMEBUSH BADGER and REAL SLIM SHADY came together.
Race 5 Flair Maiden - C0q - 520 Heat 2 TEEARE FIFTY was slow to jump but improved quickly into the first bend. Soon after the jump WATERHOUSE collided with KEN TUCKY who stumbled for a few strides. KEN TUCKY drifted out to finish a distant last. He was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury. Stewards deemed the performance of KEN TUCKY to be unsatisfactory and the dog was ordered to undertake a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with Rule 81.1.
Race 6 Flair Maiden - C0q - 520 Heat 3 BOMBAY TRAM was very slow to jump. Both OZARK'S JOLSON and WHY WHY DELILAH ran wide around the top bend losing ground.
Race 7 Flair Maiden - C0q - 520 Heat 4 TOMMY TEALEAF ran outwards after the jump tightening HOMEBUSH BROCK and SLENDER CHANCE. Into the first bend SLIGHTLY AMAZING ran out from the rail checking TOMMY TEALEAF, LOVELY HAND and SLENDER CHANCE. Around the bend TOMMY TEALEAF clipped the heels of OZARK'S COVER and LOVELY HAND.
Race 8 www.greyhoundtips.co.nz Dash - C0 - 295 MUSTARD FUDGE was very slow to jump. HOMEBUSH NESTOR ran in sharply when jumping colliding with HOTWAX who lost ground befor clipping the heels of HOMEBUSH NESTOR into the bend when trying to improve. FAT TONY was tightened by the winner BOTANY HENRY into the bend, checking outwards and forcing LENNY'S FORTUNE and WHITEY'S WAY wide.
Race 9 Robbie's Bar & Bistro Stakes - C1q - 520 Heat 1 GRANT A STAR was tightened by BOMBAST into the first corner before BOMBAST checked outwards off the heels of CAWBOURNE SNEAKY.
Race 10 Angler's Arms Tavern Dash - C0 - 295 AINT THAT COOL was slow to jump from the inside box but recovered quickly along the rail into the bend. PINTA GUINNESS and PRIDE OF SOUTH were tightened by dogs on their outer into the bend. OZARK'S CORNER who led into the bend ran wide almost running of the track losing all chance. He was subject to a veterinary check which revealed right carpal pain with a 21 day stand down recommended.
Race 11 Tuesday Place Pick - C1 - 295 HERE'S MAREE NOW and AKAISHA BALE were checked soon after the jump when HOMEBUSH KALAMA ran inwards.
Race 12 Robbie's Bar & Bistro Stakes - C1q - 520 Heat 2 HIDDEN ANGEL was checked soon after the jump. Into the first bend WITH A RHYTHM ran in tightening UNDER COVER who checked out colliding with HIDDEN ANGEL. They came together again entering the back straight losing all chance.
Race 13 Wilson's Sports Bar & T.A.B. Dash - C1 - 295 Into the bend ZENA'S LADY moved outwards colliding with the rear of JULINSKY who in turn was forced out onto COT CASE CUTIE and CAWBOURNE JODIE. These four lost all chance. COT CASE CUTIE was subject to a veterinary check which revealed a left hind split webbing with a 14 day stand down recommended.
Race 14 Robbie's Bar & Bistro Stakes - C1q - 520 Heat 3 OPAWA GEM and REDBANK RUBY were tightened by SOULJA STORM into the first bend both losing ground. In the home straight SOULJA STORM marred BEEJAY'S MATE. Trainer MG ROBERTS was shown the head on film which confirmed the marring. As this was SOULJA STORM'S 3rd offence he was stood down for a period of 12 months and ordered to undertake a Satisfactory Trial.
Race 15 Pick Six Leg One - C2 - 295 Into the bend LESTER moved down towards the rail tightening KNOW GO who came back on FIRM OFFER. Soon after MEANDER who was handy drifted out to finish well back.
Race 16 Barron's Supplies Dash - C2 - 295 Both MOMENT and KNOW TROUBLE drifted to the rear after the jump. Into the bend BABA GANOOSH and CHASIN' CROWS came together checking back on MOMENT, NEED A NURSE and SILENT WHISPER. Soon after CHASIN' CROWS struck the rear of NEED A NURSE who was dragged down. NEED A NURSE was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury.
Race 17 Robbie's Bar & Bistro Stakes - C1q - 520 Heat 4 MORE PORK, MOVE OVER DALE and ACE DRUMARD were slow to leave the boxes with ACE DRUMARD finishing last. He was subject to a veterinary check which revealed a mild right hock strain with a 14 day stand down recommended. ZAGAR who led early drifted out over the final stages of the race.
Race 18 Robbie's Bar & Bistro Stakes - C1q - 520 Heat 5 GENISTA BELLE and MR BONZALES came together after the jump with GENISTA BELLE losing ground. When improving into the bend she ran outwards colliding with HOMEBUSH OSO and OZARK'S MASK who were forced wide. These two finished at the rear.
Race 19 Speight's Six Pack - C2 - 520 CLEEVE HILL drifted to last before improving quickly around the first bend. Into the first bend MARKY BLUE was tightened striking the rail. Soon after TRICKY DAISY and GENISTA SUMMER came together. A veterinary check of MARKY BLUE revealed nothing amiss.
Race 20 Be Back Thursday Night Sprint - C2 - 295 In the run to the bend GRANT A CHANCE ran outwards colliding with YAKCAM both drifting out to finish well back. YAKCAM was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury.
