| Race 2 | A.F. Johnston Electrical Sprint - SPECA - 310 | ALBIE'S LAD ran out onto HOMEBUSH DUSTY into the bend forcing her into the path of THRILLING BECKY, MISS IDOL and CHESTNUT, all four losing ground. |
| Race 3 | Presidents Stakes - SPECA - 545 | GRANT A STAR was slow to jump. MORE PORK ran outwards from the jump and forced HIGHGROVE wide. Into the first turn HIGHGROVE crossed over and struck GREAT KAY'S who checked BOMBAST and caused the trailing GRANT A STAR to fall heavily. GRANT A STAR regained his feet to finish a distant last, and was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury. |
| Race 4 | Noel Welsh Memorial Sprint - C3 - 310 | CAWBOURNE CLICK was tightened soon after jumping and stumbled for a stride or two. The winner BUICK BERNIE moved down towards the rail into the bend checking ROCKA HULA and CAWBOURNE CLICK who again came together approaching the home straight. |

| Race 6 | S.R. Double D Syndicate Stakes - SPECA - 545 | On the first turn SILAS MARNER crossed over and stumbled when clipped from behind by BOTANY KELLY. Into the home straight CLEEVE HILL collided with SILAS MARNER with both dogs finishing towards the rear. SILAS MARNER was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury. |
| Race 7 | Paws Inn Boarding Kennel Stakes - C3/4 - 545 | Into the first turn LAGER IN PARIS ran outwards and forced SELF INFLICTED, OPAWA COLLAR and KNOCK 'EM DOWN wide and to the rear. MOA HUNTER was also checked and lost ground during the incident. Into the back straight LAGER IN PARIS crossed from wide out and checked MOA HUNTER. Early leader BONUS BOND appeared to tie up into the final turn after leading and finished at the rear. BONUS BOND was subject to a veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss. |
| Race 8 | Brocklebank Dry Cleaners Stakes - C5 - 545 | From the jump SMASH MCCOY clipped the rear of ST. WILD and lost ground. Shortly after the jump VIVALDI STAR crossed over and checked KNOW QUESTION and KNOW SPIRIT with both dogs losing ground and then running wide on the first turn. Into the back straight ST.WILD and SMASH MCCOY came together and lost momentum. At the end of the back straight GENISTA ROCKET who was vying for the lead was tightened by the eventual winner VIVALDI STAR and went back through the field checking the running of SPLENDID TYCOON. ROCKY'S STAR was also checked during the incident. GENISTA ROCKET was subject to a veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss. |
| Race 9 | FPTC Centennial Dash - C5 - 310 | LES BAXTER stumbled on leaving the boxes. In the run to the turn LES BAXTER crossed the field tightenening BRADMAN'S WILLOW who came back on HOMEBUSH REECE who fell heavily chcking GRANT A FORTUNE and MILLY'S MATE who lost all chance. Into the home straight BRADMAN'S WILLOW checked out off LES BAXTER before before being struck by an improving FIREMAN'S RAFFLE. HOMEBUSH REECE, BRADMAN'S WILLOW and FIREMAN'S RAFFLE were subject to veterinary checks which revealed no injury to any of the three. |
