Judicial report: Trainer O Marron was asked by the stewards for his reason for not producing the papers for AMELIA ELECTRA for race one
He had left the course before this was finalised and will be spoken to at the next meeting

Race 1	Quality Presentations Ltd Maiden Middle Distance - C0 - 457	AMELLIA ELECTRA was slow away from the boxes and lost several lengths, but was able to run around the field and finished a very gutsy 2nd placing at the line AMELIA ELECTRA was examined by the vet and was found to have suffered a grade 3 rupture to right pectoral muscle with a 28 day stand down BIG DADDY SLOY (FAV) was checked back to the rear severly as THRILLING TAMMY came out and ELEMENO PEA came in , resulting in BIG DADDY SLOY losing all chance and he finished in last position at the post and was sent for a vet check where he was foundt to have suffered a recurring old injury with a 10 day stand down LIVELY SPIRIT was noticed to be sore at the hosedown bay post race and was vetted at the trainers request and was found to be suffering from a monkey muscle injury with a 10 day stand down
Race 2	W&E Cavanagh Ltd MIddle Distance - C1 - 457	ASK THE BANDIT was well away from the start and led in the early stages ,but was then observed to lose ground back through the field towards the rear ASK THE BANDIT was checked slightly as the field raced in to the straight and finished in 2nd to last place at the line and was sent for a vet check and was found to have suffered a muscle injury with a 10 day stand down TINY PRANCER raced wide in to the first turn and this cost her any chance there after
Race 3	www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz Sprint - C1 - 375	LIFE BECKONS came over from the start and tightened the inside runners for a few strides CYCLONE TRAVIS was held up for a few strides as they raced across the top bend ,but ran on well for 2nd placing at the line
Race 4	Manawatu Security Fencing Ltd Sprint - C1 - 375	SPECTRE CONQUEST (fav)was away well from the start and raced in a handy position until the home turnand then seemed to weaken out and approx 40 metres from the line was observed to lose her footing in behind for a couple of strides and was sent for a vet check. and was found to have suffered a pectoral muscle injury Soon after the start HOMEBUSH JAZZ came out and collided with THRILLING FELIX as he came in As the field raced in to the first turn EVAMORE came across and took the line of MADAM KEIISHA who stumbled and was hit from behind by BIGTIME PAL and fell and was pushed along the ground by BIGTIME PAL and almost hit the outside fence MADAM KEISHA recovered her feet and carried on to the finish some distance behind the field and was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found
Race 5	Cookes Ropes Sprint - C1/2 - 375	racing down to the first turn BIGTIME SURVIVOR came across towrds the rail and severly checked FLOATING AWAY who went back to the rear and lost his chance from there on in
Race 6	Outback Trading Company Ltd Sprint - C2/3 - 375	BACK DRAUGHT came across fast from the 5 box and tightened BIGTIME SLAMMER,KYLE IZMIR, SUPER SAGE and MACAU causing these dogs to all be checked and lose ground back to the rear SUPER SAGE and KYLE IZMAR recovered well from this incident to fill the minor placings at the finish.
Race 7	Mervyn Eade Memorial Middle Distance - C4/5 - 457	SHIFTY DOONS was a late scratching on veterinary advice due to arriving at the track suffering from gastroenteritis GONE ZILLA (fav) was slow away and took some time to get in to the race ,but ran on late to finish a close up 4th at the line
Race 8	AP1 Metrology Palmerston North Sprint - C4/5 - 375	POWERFUL ENEMY came out awkwardly at the start and hit BRASS KNUCLES off stride at that point racing down to the first turn BLACK TIE and DANDALOO BLUE came together for a stride
Race 9	Radio Trackside 828AM Manawatu Six Pack Sprint - C4/5 - 375	Racing in to the first turn NATASHA'S DUFFER from the 7 box was attempting to get over as IN COMMAND (fav) was trying to come out and these two dogs came together as DA COOLER tried to get around them and got on the back of NATASHA;S DUFFER and caused her to stumble and fall NATASHA;S DUFFER recovered her feet and finished some distance behind the field and was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found.
