After the start GIRL LEG ran inwards to the rail and tightened MISTY VELVET onto WIRE IT UP and DUSTY MISTRESS, GRADUATED CLASS was observed to run out after the start and contributed to the tightening. GIRL LEG and MISTY VELVET came together for a stride into the first turn with MISTY VELVET forcing GIRL LEG wider on the track. |
| Race 2 | Thornton Auctions Series - C0q - 527 Heat 1 | ROLL UP and WINSOME FREDDY were the slowest to begin, ROLL UP was in the air when the lids opened. GO BOOF ran outwards after the jump with STRIKE ONCE observed to run in after the start MISS JETSUN was the worst runner affected as she was denied clear racing room in this incident. STRIKE ONCE and MISS VIP contacted each other into the first turn as did GO BOOF and WINSOME FREDDY |

Into the first turn there was general tightening when WINSOME KELLY, HOMEBUSH WIGGLE and WAHINE KURE came together for a stride. |

MAGIC SPIKE came in on THRILLING CHASE into the first turn checking this runner MAGIC SPIKE also cut across FARMOR JAZIL after this incident checking this runner for a stride as the field raced into the second turn. COMET PRINCESS ran outwards into the first turn causing checks to its self MOST EXCUSED, and THRILLING CHASE. |
| Race 5 | $20,000 Pick6 Stakes - C1 - 527 | KARAMU THUNDER, BOTANY ADAM and MADDER THAN were the slowest to begin. MADDER THAN was observed to run very wide into the first and second turns then cut down to the rail and run home strongly for his third placing. |
| Race 6 | Deli's Sports Bar Sprint - C5 - 318 | PRIVATE PEDROand KERRIE'S FANTASY were the slowest to begin. WINSOME NOVA began brilliantly went straight to the lead and after 75/100 meters was observed to pull up and drift to the rear of the field, this runner was sent for a Vet check wich revealed an injury requiring a 28 day stand down fro m racing. As the field raced around the turn out of the back straight TO THE CREST was observed to fall, it was established that TOW MATER had moved out slightly and contacted the front legs of TO THE CREST causing this runner to fall.; A post race Vet check of TO THE CREST revealed no injury |
| Race 7 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Stakes - C3 - 527 | TALEVERO and ATOMIC CLAIM were the slowest to begin. FANCY GIRL was turn sideways into the first turn when this runner was caught between TALEVERO and TEE KAY GIRL. ATOMIC CLAIM checked off the heels of TEE KAY GIRL down the back straight , ATOMIC CLAIM was then observed to be caught from behind by REZENDE . ATOMIC CLAIM was sent for a post race vet check which revealed no injuries. YAMBLA BOB was the subject of a post race vet check and was found to have a cut webbing, pad, and toe to his right fore. This injury was Sutured and this runner was stood down for 28 days. |
| Race 8 | Carol's TABs Stakes - C5 - 527 | RASMAH was the slowest to begin. HARAJUKU BOY ran in after the start and forced STICKY BOY onto APPOINTED TIME, APPOINTED TIME ran out ofter this incident and contacted STICKY BOY. RASMAH was the subject of a post race Vet check and was found to have suffered a cut to his left fore toe requiring sutures with a 7 day stand down recommended |
| Race 9 | Greyhounds North Maiden Distance Series - C0dq - 603 Heat 2 | MIGHTY BIG SAM Into the first turn DOLLY BREEN and THRILLING SMILE came together for a stride . Down the back straight MIGHTY BIG SAM was observed to check out of a tight spot when racing between SANTO GOLD and DOLLY BREEN, MIGHTY BIG SAM dropped to the rear after this check. |
| Race 10 | The Alamo Bar & TAB Sprint - C3/4 - 318 | FANCY EEL, DREAM A WIN, SURFIN MINT, NEW CLEAR POWER and NATURAL JOURNEY were the slowest to begin. WINSOME JESS and BEACH STREET were observed to jostle in the run to the first turn. BUT WHY NOT around the first turn and forced NEW CLEAR POWER to race wide on the track. The muzzle came off FANCY EEL just prior to this runner being boxed up. |
