| Race 1 | Mervyn Eade Memorial Stakes - C0 - 545 | HOMEBUSH BROCK was very slow to jump. Soon after the start ARTIC DREAM tightened OZARK'S COVER and OPAWA GEM. Into the first bend JONES BAXTER struck the heels of ARTIC DREAM who was dragged down, with JONES BAXTER checking outwards and colliding with OPAWA GEM who ran wide on the track. Soon after OZARK'S COVER and OPAWA GEM came together for a few strides. THAT'S SARAH was subject to a veterinary check which revealed an injury to the left fore stopper pad with a 7 day stand down recommended. |
| Race 2 | Southland Greyhound Racing Club Sprint - C0 - 310 | Into the bend LUKES FORTUNE tightened WARRIOR WIKI and HOTWAX before WARRIOR WIKI checked out off HOTWAX and collided with SORRY VANDERFORD. WARRIOR WIKI eased for a number of strides. Into the home straight WARRIOR WIKI and SORRY VANDERFORD again came together. WARRIOR WIKI was the subject of a veterinary check which revealed a sore right shoulder with a 7 day stand down recommended. Stewards determned that the performance of WARRIOR WIKI was unsatisfactory and a Satisfactory Trial was ordered in accordance with Rule 81.1. |

Soon after TRICKY DAISY and FROSTY EQUATOR moved towards the rail tighting both BOTANY HORNET and BEAUTIFUL MOMENT. BOTANY HORNET fell heavily before regaining her fet to finish the race with BEAUTIFUL MOMENT being badly checked. BOTANY HORNET was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury. |
