Weather: FineTrack: Good The track was in excellent condition after heavy rain the day before but the rain had caused a power problem with the boxes with all races being hand started as a result.

Race 1 | Welcome To Cambridge Raceway Dash - C1 - 375 | HAGLER was difficult to box with Trainer D Kettlewell reporting that he had cut his finger just before boxing the dog and this had made the boxing awkward. The race was all clear. |
Race 2 | Matangi Maiden - C0 - 457 | WINSOME KELLY and PARNELL MIST were the last two to jump with both dogs making ground well in the home straight. TODD was tightened at the end of the back straight and then came together with WHO NOSE FITZ soon after. BIGTIME LUCKY was in behind these runners and received a check. |
Race 3 | 0800 Down Cow Ltd Dash - C3/4 - 375 | At the jump CAWBORNE GREG ran inwards checking FANCY EEL for a stride while closer in YOUNG VALIANT also ran inwards contacting BEACH STREET, WINSOME JESS and SURFIN' MINT. Into the bend BEACH STREET was badly tightened along the inside and dropped to the rear. |
Race 4 | Interislander Dash - C1 - 375 | JACK BELLYBEANS was last to jump. Just prior to the bend BIGTIME EBONY checked off the back of BLACK TREND and dropped to the rear. On the home turn SEELEY BOOTH ran outwards checking CARIBBEAN JACK with EXCELLENT BEC and THRILLING CHASE being forced over extra ground. |
Race 5 | YGOT Bonus Scheme Stakes - C1 - 457 | LUCK NOW KID ran outwards soon after the jump tightening LAGOON FIFI and GRADUATED CLASS. Into the bend IN THE BIN and HOT FONZ were tightened and lost ground. |
Race 6 | Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Sprint - C5 - 375 | BLACK MOON appeared to check outwards off BRIGHT CONQUEST into the bend pushing KERRIE'S FANTASY over extra ground. There was no head on coverage available for this event. |
Race 7 | Greyhounds As Pets Dash - C2 - 375 | WINSOME SKY and BARALLEN were both slow to jump. Into the bend BIGTIME SCAR was badly tightened between ITCHICOO PARK and HEIR OF DESTINY and dropped to the rear. |
Race 8 | TAB Pump & Automotive Stakes - C5 - 457 | HARAJUKU BOY and TIGGER FOOT bumped for a stride soon after the jump. TIGGER FOOT was dragged down from behind down the back straight and lost ground. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. TRENDY SON and RASMAH were both keen to get off the rail into the bend with RASMAH being tightened and losing ground. He made good ground when in the clear to run second. In this incident SPRING ADMIRAL appeared to hit the rail and lose ground with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. |
Race 9 | Raglan Sprint - C1 - 375 | REVELRY was last to jump but made good ground for second. ALL ABOUT MILLY ducked outwards at the jump tightening JAYDEN'S COURAGE and LARRISSA LYN who both lost ground. JAYDEN'S COURAGE was held up for room into the bend and lost momentum while on the home turn LEFT JAB ran wide and lost ground. |
Race 10 | Protector Safety Stakes - C3 - 457 | PADDY BOND, WINSOME JAMES and REZENDE all came together in the early stages and lost ground. Soon after this YAMBLA BOB ran inwards checking PADDY BOND and REZENDE who came outwards colliding with TEE KAY GIRL who dropped to the rear. PADDY BOND and TEE KAY GIRL finished at the rear as a result of these incidents. |
