Judicial report: OKAY'S DERMATOFF which had been stood down at Wanganui on 13.11.09 was vetted again today under Rules 82.5 and 82.6 and the original stand down up to and including 26.11.09 was changed to up to and including 20.11.09.
HOMEBUSH WARRIOR, an entrant in race 3 was 1.8 kilograms up on its previous start weight and under Rule 69.11, the Trainer would normally have been fined $ 100-00. However, due to serious doubts about the accuracy of the scales, the fine was waived on this occasion and the Club are to make urgent moves to replace the scales as soon as possible.
Trainer W.Kite was spoken to advisedly after it was observed that she had kicked the box door after boxing her dog in race 10.

Race 1	Quality Presentations Ltd Maiden Sprint - C0 - 375	Soon after the start ERIC PHOENIX, HOMEBUSH WIGGLE and ASTRO BLUES were checked and they lost ground. HOMEBUSH WIGGLE recovered to finish in 3rd place with the other two further back in the field. The favourite PURE TEMPTATION was handy rounding the bend but ran very wide into the straight and finished in 6th place.
Race 2	Manawatu Security Fencing Maiden Sprint - C0 - 375	One of the favourites JO BAXTER was one of the slowest to begin and was then checked on the first corner losing ground and she never recovered and finished in 2nd last place. TEE KAY MASSIVE was handy enough on the bend but was then checked and ran wide into the straight over extra ground but then ran on over the final stages and finished in 6th place.
Race 3	The Simply Grey Project Maiden Middle Distance - C0 - 457	The favourite BIG DADDY SLOY was handy on the first corner but collided with HOMEBUSH WARRIOR and lost momentum. Soon after, BIG DADDY SLOY checked off the heels of FLOYDY BOY losing further ground and all chance and he finished in 5th place.
Race 4	Weld Fabrication Engineering Ltd Sprint - C1 - 375	UPAHUT STAR was checked when starting on the bend and lost ground but did recover to finish in 4th place. BIGTIME EYE and LAWS HILL came together on the home turn and both checked losing ground and all chance of a placing with BIGTIME EYE being the most affected and she finished in last place. DASH was very slow to begin losing several lengths and he stayed back to finish in 2nd last place.
Race 5	Charlie Boyce, Foxton Vet Sprint - C1 - 375	JILL ran out from the start and caused slight jostling to LOOKS DECIEVING and BOTANY ADAM. VIOLET JAZZ and CRYSTAL KATIE were slow to begin and settled at the rear. LOOKS DECIEVING, HOMEBUSH BEX, JASON BOURNE and CRYSTAL KATIE were all checked on the first corner losing several lengths and they finished in the last four places.
Race 6	Total Irrigation Ltd Sprint - C1 - 375	SPECTRA CONQUEST was a little slow to begin and settled last but then secured a clear rails run to finish in 3rd place. HOMEBUSH ASTRID was checked twice on the bend and she stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 7	Wenham Grain & Seed Middle Distance Final - C1f - 457	THRILLING FELIX and HOMEBUSH JAZZ were reasonably handy racing to the first corner but both were checked losing several lengths and they stayed back to finish in 2nd and 3rd last places.
Race 8	NZ Racing Series Distance Final - NZRSdf - 766	ROBBITY BOB was awkwardly placed adjacent to the rail on the first bend and he lost ground at that point and stayed well back to finish in 2nd last place.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company Ltd Middle Distance - C1 - 457	All clear.
Race 10	Manawatu Harness Here Tomorrow Night - C1 - 457	WATCH THIS PAGE moved in soon after the start and bumped COMET PRINCESS and YOU CASANOVA who both settled well back and they stayed there to finish in 3rd last and last places.
